And it's not just that his is higher. The amount of crap that Trump is taking on via the MSM and their leaning, and the non-stop attacks from the left and the likes of Waters and Schumer.... those that want to use this time to attack and obstruct - and work on getting nothing done.
The right wasn't nearly perfect, but also didn't work against Obama like this, didn't have the MSM pulling stunts daily and didn't have the same level of hatred and violence out there working against. Without all of that, he goes up another 10 points, IMO.

The latest Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.
President Barack Obama had an approval rating of 44% on October 29, 2010 before his party suffered HUGE losses in the 2010 midterm elections.
And that is despite an attacking media that is 92% negative in its Trump coverage.
This is BIG news for the Republican Party just a week before the midterm elections.
