After Kavanaugh, all the drama in the past 2 years.... I simply don't believe it. Not unless some SERIOUSLY factual spot on evidence comes forward. ANYONE can swear to death and beyond, but that doesn't make them credible, not in political situations. BUT, apparently "credible" and also has "corroboration".

Special counsel Robert Mueller accuses opponents of offering women money to make 'false claims' about him

---Special counsel Robert Mueller has referred to the FBI allegations that women were "offered money" to make "false claims" about him, a spokesman said Tuesday.
---"When we learned last week of allegations that women were offered money to make false claims about the Special Counsel, we immediately referred the matter to the FBI for investigation," spokesman Peter Carr says.
---Mueller is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and possible coordination between the Kremlin and Trump's campaign.

Special counsel Robert Mueller has referred to the FBI allegations that women were "offered money" to make "false claims" about him, a spokesman said Tuesday.

Spokesman Peter Carr released this statement to CNBC:

When we learned last week of allegations that women were offered money to make false claims about the Special Counsel, we immediately referred the matter to the FBI for investigation.

Mueller is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, as well as possible coordination between the Kremlin and President Donald Trump's campaign.

Jack Burkman, a conservative commentator who claims to be a registered lobbyist, said in a tweet Tuesday that "we will reveal the first of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's sex assault victims" on Thursday.

Mueller refers plot to make false claims about him to FBI

WASHINGTON (AP) — Robert Mueller's office has referred to the FBI allegations that women were "offered money to make false claims" about the special counsel, according to Mueller's spokesman.

In a statement, spokesman Peter Carr says that once the office learned of the allegations, it immediately referred the matter to the FBI for investigation.

The statement didn't specify what the claims were, but the referral to the FBI — and a rare public statement about it from the special counsel's office — suggests that Mueller's office believed there was a potential crime for federal law enforcement to investigate.

The attempt to spread what Mueller's office says are false claims about him also appears to be an effort to discredit the former FBI director as his team enters a critical stage of its investigation into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia and whether the president attempted to obstruct justice.

Mueller's office has charged 32 people so far, with four former associates of the president pleading guilty and agreeing to cooperate with investigators. A grand jury in recent weeks has heard testimony centered on another former Trump aide, Roger Stone.

I'm sure there must be throngs of liberals chanting "We believe survivors" outside Mueller's office - and at every restaurant he ever goes to.

I detect sarcasm!

But I would not bet on throngs protesting. Maybe applauding and allowing!

I'll buy it when I see it and it passes muster. In the meantime, of course Mueller is going to say "people were paid"

Speaking of, how much money again was it this clown authorized be paid to Whitey Bolger so Bolger could inform on his mob enemies and get the Feds off his own ass and onto theirs? While e was running amok murdering people?

Money says Mueller gets a pass from the left. Heard any cries for a investigation like there was for Kavanaugh? "Stop the world while we investigate ..." I haven't seen any.

Yep... I know how this is going to go right now... the leftist propaganda wing and the leftist mongrels in Washington will TRASH this accuser, regardless of the BLATANT HYPOCRISY, they don't a flyin' FUCK about hypocrisy or double standards, that's just the way they play and if you don't like it, you can pound sand.

The republicans will try and make something out of it but like with everything else just fall short. They have the goods on this sons a bitch already proving this Russia collusion witch hunt is a farce and they STILL can't shut it down or put anyone in jail. I've never seen a more feckless bunch of gutless turds in my life. There's a few repubs that are fighters, but not enough. 6 or 7 good repub senators and congressmen can't take on the entire leftist deep state alone.

Washington, period, virtually all of them, make me sick to my stomach. Government is way, WAY too big and bloated. We have far more government than we need. The federal government should be stripped by HALF at LEAST.

Time for that Convention of States, or another civil war to clean house.

Well, there certainly won't be any "believe all women", or we would have heard about it already, and we haven't. And he WILL use his powers to hold down any accusations or folks making them, whether guilty or not, IMO.

I don't believe the accusations thus far, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't go the appropriate route.
