Anyone catch it last night? I didn't, nor do I have video, but heard about it on the radio. The oldest you can be to audition is 28 but they let him sing anyway as a tribute to his wife who was dying of cancer, and apparently died a few days earlier, and the song he sang was for her. From what I understand even the 'meanie' judges had tears, and Simon got up and shook his hand afterwards.

When Simon called him over and said "come here and let me shake your hand", I was amazed. The guy was actually good and there were lots of tears for sure.

I've never watched the show but that was good. Glad they let him on.
