The usual “be sure to vote” urgings have reached an unprecedented level of intensity this year.
I am convinced that this is just a dog whistle to Dem voters. Conservative voters generally don’t need convincing or reminders or bribes or rides to the polling place. We just go and vote.
Dems know this. It’s their supporters who need all of the above. So, the reminders are aimed precisely at them. If you are on FB, check out the politics of the folks who do the reminding. Bet you they are overwhelmingly Dem.
I hope the the weather in those tight-race states is horrible!
