Anybody else going out to brave the crowds today, or are you a "Cyber Monday" person?

I'm fixin' ta head out here in awhile. Go poke around the nearest big, (little), town near me, and see what kind of stuff is going on. There's a Walmart, a new Tractor Supply store that's got cool stuff, and lots and lots of great little home town, brick and mortar, Mom and Pop stores.

There is nothing in this little town that attract 'Black Friday' shoppers, perhaps
down in Brookings at Fred Meyer's or Bi-Mart.

But with the predicted weather for today, only a fool would travel 27 miles to go there!

I never was much for 'Black Friday' crap. I don't like crowds.

I honestly NEVER go out on Black Friday. I'm just feeling a little rambunctious... got some excess energy to burn to I'm going to do it, work off that big Thanksgiving meal from yesterday. It's still different out here in the boonies though. It's not like in the city. Even though there'll be more people, the crowds will be nothing like the big city. I figure if I can find a deal or two on a Christmas present or something I might want, it's worth it, and this bachelor is always scoping out the ladies too... ;)

Maybe I can get in one of those big RUMBLES...

As an adult, I've never been a 'Black Friday' shopper. Indeed, this morning I found I need laundry soap, hesitated just getting dressed. LOL!

Yesterday I made Thanksgiving dinner for a few friends, my only 'apology' was I just couldn't find the time to vacuum. This morning that was my one chore left. Damn vacuum wouldn't work. Thought, 'Got to get laundry soap, now a vacuum. I figured I'd check Amazon prices before running out, ordered: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005KMDV9A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Now I should get dressed and run for the laundry soap. ;)

Oh, hell to the NO and back! No way I go out and fight those crazy crowds - especially when you can do even better if you look around online. Some people take things a little too far anymore.

Yeah, me too. I’m still in my jammies.

Even the grocery stores are crazy the day after. I’m going to just do lesson plans, grade papers, and rest.

I see see some binge watching in my immediate future.

Hardly busy around here at all. Maybe a few more people than normal but no where near packed.

I bought a couple things but I'm really looking forward to cyber Monday. Been checking out the deals on Amazon.

No way! Rather pay extra later so I can play and relax on my own schedule

The huge mall about 25 minutes from here had to temporarily close the entire parking lot because it was completely full! And people trying to leave were stuck sitting still in their cars for an hour. There is no way I’d get near that.

Ive done lots of on-line shopping, though. RUSS says I’m supporting the evil Jeff Bezos, lol.

I guess I'm supporting the evil Bezos too, but when shopping online for an item you have in mind is the only way you're going to find it, because you don't have any other way to find it near you, physically, in a store, then you do it. I probably don't like supporting Bezos anymore than any other conservatives, but what ya gonna do? Amazon is just the best answer to many availability problems around here out in the sticks.

And now they just said on the local news that today is "Small Business Saturday." I doubt I'll bother doing anymore out and about deal shopping. When I can find better deals and far greater availability online and have it delivered right to my doorstep... ya... I'll do that.

My vacuum was not delivered yesterday as promised. I kept checking, as they had it going USPS on a Sunday. After 8pm, called and got $20 credit and promise it would be delivered today, after I am home from school. Woot!

Black Friday is racist!

Why ? I think its being very touchy and petulance and paranoid.

Farah, you’re going to have a steep learning curve here...
