They probably figure that it'd cost the US less to pay them off than to station military personnel at the appropriate border areas where they'd try and gain entry - which is ILLEGAL entry, after all ! - to US territory.

They are, indeed, out of their minds.

Trump - of ALL PEOPLE - is never going to listen to such a demand. Why would he ? Politically, he's a lot more to gain by being tough with them. Besides which, extortion is (surely) a criminal enterprise in its own right, saying all that needs to be said about the 'quality' of these people.

Enter bleeding-heart liberals on to the political stage, to fight on THEIR side ? No doubt you'll see plenty of that ....

I read that earlier and just shook my head.

They have to gall to state that the USA is the cause of their troubles?
Hardly. They are the cause by not standing up to the gangs and corruption
in their home lands.

I do not think that even a liberal President would agree to that demand.

Columbia and Bolivia head right to...

You guessed it: Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. That is their mess
to clean up and I agree with Abbey - cut off all aid to those countries
until the people down there get their act together.
