Is America Really Ready for another 4 years of Clinton Scandals?

* Number close to the Clinton machine who have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes: 44
* Number of convictions during his administration: 33
* Number of indictments/misdemeanor charges: 61
* Number of imprisonments: 14
* Number of presidential impeachments: 1
* Number of independent counsel investigations: 7
* Number of congressional witnesses pleading the 5th Amendment: 72
* Number of witnesses fleeing the country to avoid testifying: 17

The Clinton machine now holds the record for the administration with:

* The most number of witnesses to flee the country or refuse to testify
* The most number of key witnesses to die suddenly
* The greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
* The greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad.
And, already the Clintons are looking at another major fundraising scandal in the face.
The Los Angeles Times reported today:
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2007/08/breaking-news-b.html
The Los Angeles Times reports on this website tonight and in Wednesday's print editions that a major Democratic Party fundraiser named Norman Hsu (pictured) is wanted by authorities for skipping out on an agreement to serve up to three years in prison after pleading no contest to grand theft swindling charges.
In a story by Chuck Neubauer and Robin Fields, The Times reports that for three years Hsu has been carving out a place of political and financial influence by funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions into Democratic Party coffers, much of the money earmarked for Sen. Hillary Clinton. He has earned the ranking of Hillraiser for pledging to raise at least $100,000 for her.
In just the last 36 months Hsu has been involved in raising more than $1 million for Clinton and other Democrats. Howard Wolfson, a spokesman for the Clinton campaign, confirmed today that Hsu had been a "longtime and generous supporter" of the party including Clinton. "We have no reason to call his contributions into question or to return them," Wolfson added.
Hsu has developed a specialty of bundling hefty campaign contributions from obscure citizens who live modest lives and have never before given money to campaigns. Many are not even registered to vote.
Over the years other recipients of Hsu donations have included Sens. Dianne Feinstein, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Edward Kennedy.
This latest news does make it kinda hard to forget about all of those other Clinton scandal records. The Republicans are certainly having problems of their own, but having the scandal-plagued Clinton's as your past and present party favorites does not say much for your organization.

Get real man. Hillary puts the term "teflon" to new heights. The MSM loves her. That's why she has a real shot at getting elected.
Just make sure that you have plenty of ammo, gold, canned food, and vegetable seed stashed away when she wins.

Hey dude. Do a little reading on the subject. Hillary is running as fast as she can away from this guy now that the story broke. She is even talking about returning some of the money.....but then I guess she will just say she knew nothing about it.

I can prove to you statistically that not a single politician knows that his campaign contributors are crooks prior to it being made public.....all you have to do is look at the press releases given out by every politician that ever held office......

The hell they dont. During the last campaign I worked on we ran every major contributor. If Hillary was smart she would have done the same thing, except that she doesn't care if it will make her look bad she just wants money.

Johnson had a deep hatred for both Kennedy brothers and would often come out of the President's office madder then hell saying god damn those Kennedy's. I also think it was a power thing, Johnson was power hungry for the Presidency and it didn't site well that JFK beat him the the primaries. I think there is a lot more to it and would probably kill the thread if I got into it here. :)

Opps, Dems being funded by criminals? Who woulda thought?
REDWOOD CITY, California (CNN) -- Embattled Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu turned himself in to authorities on Friday on a 16-year-old grand theft charge, according to a San Mateo County, California, Superior Court spokeswoman.
Hillary Clinton's campaign says it's not keeping contributions from fundraiser Norman Hsu.
Hsu was being held on $2 million bond at the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City, the San Mateo County seat.
A bail reduction hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday.
Hsu had been a top contributor to Democrats, including presidential candidates Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama.
