We have some kind of critters in our attic. They are much louder than mice. Exterminator thinks they are flying squirrels. Lol, Rocky, get out!
These animals often carry mites, fleas or even rabies. They have invaded our home.
Our solution is to block their method of ingress. A wall, essentially. Are we inhumane? Uncompassionate? Should we allow any already in there to stay. Squirrel dreamers, so to speak.

Find possible entries, go to a hardware store and and get some rolled galvanized
screening about 1/4 inch squares on the grid. I cannot recall the name of it, but it should
be near plaster and putty.

Tack that up by entry points with a stout stapler.

That will work!, even for mice and squirrels. Trap the rest or use bait and
kill them if there is known rabies in your locale.
