Laugh. I've been there when I woke up and it looked just like that. That is not as surprising as when in looks like that in Miami or here :laugh:

The Hi Desert where 29 Palms is is 1100 ft above sea level in the desert mountains. It will get to 120 avg during the day and drop to 55 as soon as the sun goes down. There is no heat retention. And yes, it IS a "dra-a-a-h heat" :)
