Democratic Speaker Nancy Pelosi--
http://www.middle-east-online.com/english/?id=21915
"The American people are demanding a new direction on the Iraq war not another quarterly invoice. It is time to wind down this war and begin to bring our troops home safely and soon."

Senator Robert Byrd--
http://www.middle-east-online.com/english/?id=21915
"The Congress must not continue to cede its constitutional authority and simply write blank checks for the misguided policy in Iraq. The latest reports of staggering waste, fraud and abuse in the rebuilding of Iraq further highlight the need to take a hard look at this new request from the White House."

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki---"
http://en.baztab.com/content/?cid=4459
Allocation of $50 bln, which comes out of the pocket of the American taxpayers, to the intensification of violence in Iraq and escalation of arms race in the region will not rescue a region which has been entangled with instability, violence and hatred due to the wrong policies of Mr. Bush."

Tell you what, then. You can pay my taxes for the next 30 years for funding the war, and then you can pat yourself on the back for being all patriotic, while I laugh all the way to a beach on the Caymans.

Yes, we have.

"The essence of the Liberal outlook lies not in what opinions are held, but in how they are held: instead of being held dogmatically, they are held tentatively, and with a consciousness that new evidence may at any moment lead to their abandonment." -Bertrand Russell

In other words liberals don't have any real convictions about anything. They can change their minds whenever it suits them.

Sounds about right to me.

What most people forget is that these people have been saying this from nearly day ONE. Their rhetoric has never changed and they have never been positive. Its like listening to the whiners in a crowd of people telling Michael Jordan that there is no way he can dunk that..... and then he does.

:cool:I have posted more directly elsewhere how nice it would be if this guy Hinkley could be set free with a bigger gun. I don't like BUSH! His actions and refusal to disclose for some national security reason or another why he is such a failure is untenable. How the apologists of his can keep up with his ever changing lies is beyond anyone with an oz of brains.
Aside from that his eyes are those of a dead man. No life in them at all.

April, I guess some things never change. The kind of commentary you have posted shows little more than hatred, and we all know that hatred breeds intellectual illegitimacy. How about debating policy? How about discussing differences rather than posting garbage that is going to do little more than garner a bunch of attacks?

More often then not, Ideas, NOT people are real source of tyranny. For the human mind can feel love or hate, and decide to commit genocide, or save lives.

I do not believe truthmatters is a threat, her ideas you may not agree with, but she is not a member of the house or senate, and with no power, the real threat, or potential comes from those in elected office.

Those who seek to divide us, can be a threat as well.

Oh well..... Malice is more like it. Extreme malice. Hate would mean he would have to be human, he isn't in my eyes.
As to debating the policies of this administration I find it redundant to try. I used to. Simply put there is no policy that is acceptable to me or my concept of patriotic American life.

Well April, malice was your word, not mine. Do you know what the definition of the word malice is?

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/malice
mal-ice: desire to inflict injury, harm, or suffering on another, either because of a hostile impulse or out of deep-seated meanness: the malice and spite of a lifelong enemy.

Do you really want to define yourself that way?

Lets go the debate route, shall we?
