I never know what the hell to get to begin with, but this one is important, the 25th anniversary. I have til June 29th to find something.

I know it's the silver anniversary, so I started looking for 'fine silver jewelry 25th anniversary' and found out the hard way it's not so easy, too many damn options!!!

Can't do the rings as I really haven't a clue on her size. So I figured necklace, as a bracelet may kill me with the wrong size too. So I narrowed it down to some sort of fine silver jewelry, a necklace, and maybe something with some diamonds in it, small of course, or just one to go with it. I also have one bookmarked that includes an amethyst, as I know that's her birthstone.

What other ideas? Any recommended places to shop? The places near me to go to would only be double the price. I've been looking at Kay Jewelry and Jared's so far, as I know they can be trusted, even if a little over priced. Not really sure. So I need ideas, with Silver in mind, from a trustworthy place....

Here's a few I have set aside thus far. Oh, and price range up to maybe like $750, up to $1k if it's a gotta have thingy! :)

I like the two toned heart, with a bit larger diamond encircled.

Send a rose that lasts a lifetime. A real rose preserved, stiffened, and covered in a layer of real silver.

These silver roses are even more stunning in real life than can be captured here.

Each one is unique and each is handmade through a 40 step process. Regular roses fade in days but these roses will last and be treasured forever.

Each rose is preserved under the metal so it will last for decades and is also made stiff and strong by the process so it is not too fragile to touch or hold.

We can deliver a silver rose with your personalized message on a card or an engraved tag attached to the rose and in a beautiful gift box. We ship worldwide.

Some send a dozen, or half-dozen silver roses for a gift that will never be forgotten. Our pairs of roses that fit in a single vase are very popular. Also available are white gold roses & platinum roses. All of our products include a 45 day full refund guarantee & FREE SHIPPING on U.S. orders over $100.

Our 25th....twenty five years ago, our two son's, with the rest of family, presented us with a 'SILVER PLATTER' Engraved with all of the wonderful words.

Best thing about Silver is....it didn't tarnish in the China Closet.

Quite a Milestone to achieve Jim. Congrats again.

If your lovely wife is an “average” size, she would wear an 18” necklace, and probably around a 7” bracelet. There are also adjustable versions of each. Rings are trickier. Fingers can really vary. But you can take one of her rings to a jeweler and they can measure it. A locket with a special picture inside is special.

If she likes to shop- you can do what Russ did and go away to a place known for antique and cute shops, and tell her in a card to look for anything made of silver. New Hope, Pa, and St. Michaels MD are two great towns.

You can also take her to a place that has silver in its name. Silver Lake Kissimmee Fla., Silver Sands, Longboat Key, etc.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, much appreciated!

Kath, the one you chose was my favorite, that's an infinity circle or whatever they call it, wrapped through a heart with a diamond on it.

AT - thank you!

Bilge - I was ahead of you, looking at a 10oz package of silver bars, decorated ones - but then thought otherwise and know they would end up in a drawer forever.

Gunny - Man, I'd love it if it were that easy and I were getting her a gun! But this is NY after all. But I DO think she can use some more modernized computer equipment, some new headphones and a bluetooth - and maybe get her a closet full of junk food to keep me ha, I mean keep her happy. :)

Abs - I was leaning towards a necklace of a pendant of sorts, and a few of them were lockets I had liked. I definitely like the heart ones the best, just seems to speak best for an anniversary. I just don't know!! I like the idea of a place with it in the name, but damn, trying to get her to travel anymore is like pulling teeth. One may even get the suspicion that she don't like me! LOL

And LTG - now THAT I really like, those flowers can be an add-on to something. A 6 pack is too much, but a pair of them in the vase looks reasonable!! Thanks!!

I meant to add, of the ones pictured, I like the last one best- the angled diamond heart. Very pretty!
