View Full Version : Omar refers to 9/11 terror attack as "some people did something"

That's how she spoke and referred to 9/11 when giving her recent speech to CAIR. She wouldn't even reference the terrorist attacks properly and WHO committed them - only that "some people did something" and as a result muslims were losing liberties.

"some people did something" ---- 19 muslims committed the worst terror attack on American soil, killing 3,000 citizens.

She can hardly condemn anything muslim, even when just herself, but certainly not when speaking to CAIR. I think her priorities are like SO many other muslims, where islam and being a muslim come first, she puts that before America, no matter what she laughingly claims.

But she is despicable in her reference to 9/11, the thousands who lost their lives and who we know is responsible.

'Some People Did Something': Ilhan Omar's Unbelievable Description of 9/11 Attacks.

If I hadn't seen the video of Rep. Ilhan Omar's speech at a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) event. I wouldn't have believed an American said this.

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said.

Omar made these remarks last month, which begs the question: How her words had escaped notice for so long? The video first appeared on Twitter earlier this week.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw was incredulous:

Her description of American Muslims being "second-class citizens" and how Muslims were "starting to lose access to our civil liberties" following 9/11 were equally idiotic. How are they second-class citizens? Who is taking away access to their civil liberties? These are straw man arguments used by those who wish to portray American Muslims as the real victims of 9/11.

I suppose we could describe Omar's commentary on 9/11 as despicable, unfeeling, crass, or just plain stupid. But this is one case where I will break my longstanding rule and describe her comments as un-American.

Ilhan Omar: CAIR Formed Because Muslims Were Targeted After ‘Some People Did Something’ on 9/11

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) referred to the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, as a day in which “some people did something” during her keynote address at a private fundraiser for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) of Greater Los Angeles last March.

In her remarks, Omar urged attendees to “raise hell” and “make people uncomfortable” in an effort to reverse the fortunes of Muslim Americans, who the freshman Congresswoman suggested were demoted to second-class citizens following 9/11.

“CAIR was founded after 9/11, because they recognize that some people did something, and then all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” said Omar, without offering any evidence to back up her claim. “You can’t just say that today someone is looking at me strange, that I am going to try to make myself look pleasant. You have to say that person is looking at me strange, I am not comfortable with it. I am going to talk to them and ask them why.”

She just keeps digging and digging herself and her stupidity. America is growing tired of her quickly, just like her 2 other freshman girlfriends. She's GOT to turn around and be the victim - because folks dared to reply to her sickening comments.

Omar Blames Crenshaw, Fox News For 'Dangerous Incitement' Against Her. Here's How They Responded.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) accused Fox News and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) of causing "dangerous incitement" against her on Wednesday after Fox News host Brian Kilmeade and Crenshaw both expressed shock over how she described the 9/11 terror attacks in a recent speech.

During a speech in late March, Omar spoke at an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) — which the United Arab Emirates has designated as a terrorist organization — where she described the 9/11 terror attacks as "some people did something."

Stunned by the remarks, which went viral this week, Crenshaw tweeted on Tuesday: "First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as 'some people who did something'. Unbelievable."

On Wednesday, Kilmeade also expressed shock over Omar's comments, saying: "Really? Some people did something? You have to wonder if she’s an American first."

"As a Muslim American you should be more outraged because they sullied your religion," Kilmeade continued. "In the name of religion they kill Americans and still do it on a daily basis."

Omar responded to the criticisms by tweeting: "This is dangerous incitement, given the death threats I face. I hope leaders of both parties will join me in condemning it. My love and commitment to our country and that of my colleagues should never be in question. We are ALL Americans!"

https://i.imgur.com/gzvNKyU.png

Kilmeade responded to Omar's tweet with a tweet of his own, writing: "I didn't intend to question whether Rep. Omar is an American - I am questioning how any American, let alone a United States Congresswoman, could downplay the 9/11 attacks."

https://i.imgur.com/H6TB9FY.png

Crenshaw also fired back at Omar, tweeting: "1. I never called you un-American. 2. I did not incite any violence against you. 3. You described an act of terrorism on American soil that killed thousands of innocent lives as 'some people did something.' It’s still unbelievable, as is your response here."

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested that Omar, who has been repeatedly condemned by Congressional leaders over her anti-Semitism, was "anti-American" last month when she was speaking at AIPAC.

"This month, the full House came together to condemn the anti-Semitic myth of dual loyalty, and all forms of bigotry, with a resolution that 'rejects the perpetuation of anti-Semitic stereotypes in the United States and around the world, including the pernicious myth of dual loyalty and foreign allegiance, especially in the context of support for the United States-Israel alliance,'" Pelosi said. "I simply declare to be anti-Semitic is to be anti-American. It has no place in our country."

Retired Deputy Chief Jim Riches FDNY, whose firefighter son Jimmy Riches was killed on 9/11, slammed Omar in an op-ed published in the New York Post on Wednesday.

"What Congresswoman Ilhan Omar said about Sept. 11 was disgraceful," Riches wrote. "She dismissed thousands of people being murdered like it was an everyday occurrence when she said “some people did something."

"I think Omar owes an apology to America. She owes an apology to the families," Riches continued. "She came here from Somalia. She was educated here. We took care of her. And now she’s saying 911 was nothing?"

"Until the time that you realize the importance of 9/11 as the worst day in American history, I call for your removal from Congress," Riches concluded.

I’m glad she’s too radical and/or too stupid to hide her true allegiances. I’m worried we may have more savvy sheep in wolves’ clothing elected in the future.

And she couldn't even get the reason correctly as to why CAIR was formed. What a dumbass.

New York Post Cover Photo Shreds Ilhan Omar For Trivializing 9/11 Terror Attacks

The New York Post issued a scathing rebuke of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) with their Thursday cover and editorial after Omar described the September 11, 2001, Islamic terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans as "some people did something."

Omar made the remarks, which sparked widespread outrage, during a March 23 speech at an event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) — which the United Arab Emirates has designated as a terrorist organization. Omar has since bemoaned criticism of her from Fox News and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) in response to her remarks by alleging that they were engaging in "dangerous incitement" against her.

The New York Post responded to Omar's comments by making the story the feature story in their Thursday publication with a cover photo of the World Trade Centers under attack on September 11, 2001, and with a headline that stated: "Here's your something"

https://i.imgur.com/ychGZXn.png
https://i.imgur.com/KUZayQF.png

"How pathetic: A member of Congress can’t acknowledge what happened on one of the most horrific days in US history," The New York Post Editorial Board wrote. "Some people did something? Wow. What a way to describe the heinous surprise attack on America that claimed 3,000 lives."

At the March 23 event, Omar said: "CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."

The Post's Editorial Board noted that "CAIR wasn’t founded post-9/11, but in 1994. And the feds later named it an unindicted co-conspirator in a plot to steer US funds to the terror group Hamas."

"Yet Omar upped the obscure-the-facts ante Wednesday, declaring criticism of her 'some people did something' line to be 'incitement,' on the grounds that she has received death threats," The Post's Editorial Board concluded. "Huh? She’d rightly be outraged if anyone minimized those threats as merely 'some words from some people.' Omar’s cavalier brushing off of the murder of thousands of innocents on 9/11 should shock all Americans, Muslims included."

If the ten Commandments has to be removed from a courthouse, that bath towel on her ugly-ass gourd should have to go as well. This IS the US, right? Regardless the stupid arguments, a Christian nation?

Yet when we were in the ME we were not allowed to wear Christian anything that was visible. Because of shithead zealots like this raghead bitch. One member said she was not a threat and would be gone in 2020 and I disagree. She got in, PERIOD, by whatever means. That makes her a serious threat as far as I'm concerned.

That was me , and she is not a threat, as Abby stated earlier, the threat is if a Muslim radical who knows how to hide it gets elected.

Luckily this woman just isn't that smart.

Like I said earlier, she doesn't put America first, ever. She supports and only supports and never condemns Islam. She will be against Israel and the Jewish people at all costs.

She will write all kinds of negative stuff about everyone, but never Islam or the muslims.

Ilhan Omar: United States was ‘founded by genocide’

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., wrote in 2017 that America was founded by genocide and our foreign policy smacks of “neocolonialism.”

“We must confront that our nation was founded by genocide and we maintain global power through neocolonialism,” Omar said in a tweet linking a Time article titled “ Unity Will Take Generations” she wrote about the August 2017 white supremacist rally Charlottesville, Va.

https://i.imgur.com/UbUlGrI.png

Omar elaborated on her comment more in the article.

“We must confront that our nation was founded by the genocide of indigenous people and on the backs of slaves, that we maintain global power with the tenor of neocolonialism,” she said.

Omar has drawn huge controversy in recent days and weeks. She was recently forced to defend 9/11 comments she made last month referring to the event as “some people did something.”

If this country is so awful, why do so many black and brown people try to get here every damn day, risking life and limb while breaking the law doing so in many cases?

Democrats are so stupid.

Oh. You must be talking about Obama now ...

Bingo, that jug headed magical negro was sly about it. He may or may not be an actual Muslim, but it can't be doubted that he was at minimum a Muslim sympathizer as President.

And not just in that aspect either but how many areas did he get the benefit of the doubt simply because he was a likeable guy? Really that's one major difference between him and Trump as President, Obama was crafty and gave off a good persona as he power grabbed for the Executive and did whatever he wanted and people didn't even notice because they liked Obama, meanwhile Trump is who he says he is. He doesn't have a public personality and a private agenda.

I prefer Trump's way of leadership.

I prefer Trump's way of leadership.I thought Obama was worse than "fooling people" though. He flat-out was busted a dozen or so times during the primaries (not even getting into his Unconstitutional, Radical Islam sympathizing administration) And I repeated each and every bust so many times I should have just made it my sig line. The left ignored it altogether while the right got all picky about who they were and weren't voting for whatever reason that was more important to them at the time than keeping the Dems out.

Same as now just flaunting their obstruction and don't care who knows.

Time to face facts. Dems ARE just that damned dumb, and the right isn't too far behind because this IS a winnable situation. Barely. But it can be salvaged. But it won't.
