I don't know how this dumb **** continues to get elected, but of course I would say the same thing about every single Democrat in elected office. They not only support policies that do not make their voter's lives better, they actively support policies which hurt their voters.

Obama is a great national example of that. His most solid base of voters (blacks , obviously) were without question worse off by every metric at the end of his Presidency than they were at the beginning of it and yet there is NO question that if he could have ran for a third term he would have received 90%+ of the black vote.

The ONLY logical explanation is that Democrat voters are stupid and Democratic politicians know this.
