Unhinged “protesters” with the Muslim Defence League attacked Tommy Robinson and his supporters with bricks, bottles and eggs during a campaign event in Oldham on Saturday.

The violent attack was captured on video by multiple people — and livestreamed on Facebook by the MDL themselves.

Robinson is running as an Independent in the European Parliamentary election. He is an outspoken critic of Islam and has vowed to donate his salary to help victims of grooming gangs if he is elected.

The MDL had heard about his campaign event and encouraged their supporters to attend and throw milkshakes at the candidate.

Robinson is considered a 'notorious' figure, by most if not all UK-based media. A very great deal has been done to demonise him, and successfully. Whether fairly or not, typical viewpoints here brand him as a right wing racist.

If anybody wanted proof of just how much of a stranglehold our politicians (mainly the Left-wing ones, where Robinson's concerned), our media and the Muslim (or Muslim-friendly) organisations have over public opinion, citing Tommy Robinson's treatment would amply do the job.

DEPUTY Labour leader Tom Watson has called on YouTube to ban Tommy Robinson as "a matter of urgency".

On Tuesday Facebook permanently banned the far-right founder of the English Defence League across its social network and Instagram for posting "in ways that violate our policies around organised hate".

Now in a letter to Google chief executive Sundar Pichai, Watson claimed YouTube - which the firm owns - should follow Facebook's lead.

Watson said it was "quite clear from the comments threads on stories documenting this decision, Yaxley-Lennon supporters are transferring over their virulent hate to YouTube".

He wrote: "I am now writing to implore you as a matter of utmost urgency to follow the lead that has been, belatedly, set by Facebook, and remove forthwith all 'Tommy Robinson' and related pages from your YouTube platform."

Efforts to silence, discredit, demonise Robinson have been unrelenting. The Left's voices are the loudest of all in that regard.
