This is all so stupid, the attack on the big bad AR-15, which is no different than so many other guns. And ban them, and people will just pick up another one that will do and even look the same, maybe even more powerful. But I guess this is the "machine gun" that Obama speaks of. :rolleyes:
How about the infamous AK47, which many will get and is also semi-auto for the public version. Maybe an SKS rifle? I won't list a ton of them, but rest assured there are, and then some. So it makes very little sense to attack one gun. Also, the majority of deaths are from pistols, and you never even hear about them. Ignorance.

Gun control proponent Gabby Giffords is praising business software maker Salesforce for demanding that its firearm retail customers cease selling AR-15s.
Giffords began pushing for background check legislation after she was shot on January 8, 2011, by an attacker who acquired his gun via a background check. Since that time, she has pushed to force every would-be gun owner to pass the same background check her attacker passed, and her gun control group has promulgated an “assault weapons” ban among other controls.
Now Giffords is lauding corporate efforts to require gun retailers to quit selling ARs if they want to use Salesforce software for their business.
