I've always thought a zip line looked like a lot of fun, and always figured I'd ride one, but it would have to be a steel cable that had been professionally installed and inspected to be safe.

No one was shooting at me but I have bungee jumped, zip lined and rappeled down 2 waterfalls. It's exhilarating.

Ya know, we had JCSE at MacDill AFB, Joint Command Service Engagement, and the last couple months I was in the Air Force, I had it pretty easy and I'd straggle into work at Operational Training Detachment around 10:00, and often there'd be 3 big Chinooks that would hover along the back ramp 100' or so in the air, and a bunch of troops would repel out of them. I always thought that looked liked fun. But, getting shot at while doing it, not fun.

Glad you lived through it, man.
