That was a very nice sentiment from the Queen.

I just searched for it, but the only source is Snopes and they say it didn't happen. I don't much trust Snopes, but that is it.

Did the Queen Call President Trump an ‘Amazing Person’ with a ‘Good Heart’?Buckingham Palace has confirmed Elizabeth II did not give a June 2019 interview which was subsequently suppressed by politically motivated journalists.DAN MACGUILL (https://www.snopes.com/author/danmacguill/)

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Queen really does interviews.

If you're looking for anything pro President Trump on google, you're either going to have to dig into way back pages, or you won't find anything at all. Their leftist bias algorithms dump anything and everything pro President Trump or conservative way to the back. They are a premier member of the democrat propaganda wing.

That's why I use... https://searchconservative.com/

I found this...

Insider: Queen Elizabeth Praised Trump In Now-Deleted Interview, Called Him An “Amazing Person” With A “Good Heart” And Said “In Another Life, He Could Be My Son”

I don't find anything odd about the fact that this very well could have happen, but because of the hatred of President Trump by the loonies across the pond and here, the story was scrubbed. The UK is far more notorious for media and speech control than America, and we're bad enough with our fake news.

That's apparently where the rumor started, on that site, but she really never was interviewed, my friend. Even Buckingham Palace has responded and said no such interview ever took place.

Fwiw, and all that matters to me - Trump looked great with her and showed an immense amount of respect, as he should have. His D-Day speech was phenomenal. His overall trip was a success, IMO, and I saw no reason for the Queen to have an issue with him.

So, no comments like that..... but watch this anyway. Not your typical Trump type of speech. I absolutely LOVE the respect he shows veterans, and then hugging a few of them. :)

Aaahh well, damn it... fooled again by a meme from twitter. Next time I'm digging deep to find out if it's true. (Which is what I usually do anyway. I guess I just wanted to believe it.)

I actually did believe this was true. I thought the Queen and President Trump got along great. The "he could have been my son" comment did give me pause though. I should have known better.

I know that with how I feel about Trump, if I said what you did folks would be all over me for trying to make him look bad. I guess it is what it is.

With that said, his speech is getting resounding thumbs up, even from those far from being labeled 'fans' of Trump. He always seems to do well in delivering speeches off our shores, from the first trip abroad. The only glitch in that paradigm I saw was the one regarding NATO and haven't seen a repeat thus far.

With the 'win' in Mexico and the announcement of 'no tariffs,' I'd say he's had a very good week.

No biggie, I think everyone has posted something incorrect at one time or another. I post articles but probably wrong on what I write myself like 65x a day! :thumb:

Well, he did lay into Londonistan Mayor upon arrival, which I did NOT like. I loved the comment and I think he's deserving of them - but wrong timing, not on way to see the Queen. But I think after that it was all thumbs up.

And Mexico, that's what I had envisioned happening - a year or so and damage down the road. I honestly didn't think it would work so quickly, that Mexico would be willing to work with us so quickly, and that Trump was willing to bend so quickly. All in all, I think that was the best decision of the process. Amazing what $$ can do to any side.

Now we need funding, I'll settle for enhanced technology fences, larger but similar to what Israel has in some places, maybe a few thousand more border agents (starters, I've listed all before). Then a few laws maybe, especially increasing things against employers. Sew up loose ends and loopholes. Do that - and I'm a happy camper.

Once the flow of invaders has subsided, then we should go about the business of rounding up all those, like 98% of them, that never show up for their hearing.

Sorry, back you go, b'bye... and don't come back.

Yeah, it’s hard to trust anything we hear these days. Which will quickly evolve into an overall cynicism; a bad thing for society.
This is why I now title some posts with “Anyone know if this is true?”. I’ve been burned, too.

I honestly didn't do ANY digging to see if it was true. I just quickly posted it in my jubilation.

Stupid me...
