Can anyone recommend a decent speech-to-text Windows 10 compatible program? Preferably free but if not at least reasonably priced. I'm only going to use it while my arm is in a cast, so like 3 more weeks, hence not wanting to pay a ton.

I've used and tried a few times the built in "speech recognition" but IMO I get better results on my phone with Google.

I have a friend who is functionally blind that uses this program.

There are more, so pick and choose!

A couple weeks ago, I told you about a Google APP that allows Speech to Text...and IT IS FREE, as far as I can tell.

Just a reminder. Go to GOOGLE APS, and type Speech to Text. IF You want.
It is in Google Chrome... Google Store apps if you use Chrome.

That's what I'm using for now is the Windows 10 built in speech recognition. It's decent, but it needs time to catch up with your speaking and then it makes a lot of typos.

This works best thus far, and I do so by going to Google Drive first, then selecting New - Google Docs - Blank Document. And then once it's open, you can click on Tools - Voice Typing. This one works much better!
