A stupid question about the board settings

if this exists, I just can't find it. Is there a setting that opens thread to the last read post? For example in a 8 page thread , if I open the thread I want to go where the last post I read is , rather than to page 1. I'm too damn lazy for all that clicking to get to page 8 or whatever.

On the index page you can see, all the way to the right, the last post and by who in that section. If you click on that it will bring you to the last post unread by YOU, and saved by cookies.

Also, you can say open any section, say politics, see a list of threads. Anything bright is what is unread, faded looking is older read. If it's unread, click on that thread, and it will automatically take you to the first unread post.
