I don't download anywhere. I usually just post direct to a thread from my tablet. Works for pics ... just upload. Guess can't do that with videos.

Nope DP does not host video media - you’d first have to upload the video to a hosting service and then link it to a post.

If it's youtube, super simple. If your own, I think you need to upload it, but wait for jimnyc. He'll walk you through.

How can I post video here from my tablet?

I did offer a full blown separate media site for DP but no one even joined let alone used. Then I also did the same with just an image site. But no use. I understand everyone wants the ability to directly upload here, but the bandwidth would be a killer ultimately not to mention the strains of uploading and converting and then hosting and streaming.

Alternative is to upload to Youtube, but then you need an account of course if you don't have one.

If a larger video than say like 20MB - use this service to email me to above address, and I'll handle the rest and send you a link for you to make your post:

Yeah... just upload the video to youtube. You do need an account but it's all free.
