@elassar

I have burgundy tee shirts and PT shorts and yellow tee shirts and PT shorts. I accidentally touched the yellow shorts to the burgundy shorts and they caught on fire :death:

It could be worse - blue and silver.

I like the Steelers colors - black and gold, same as my high school was -
plus the unique helmet with logo just on one side.

I'm a Cowboys fan as well because I'm from here and can follow the team. I used to hate them. I still hated the Redskins more :)

And the Redskins are one team that surpasses Dallas in having the most talent and worst records :)

I called my Ma the other day and she asked... "aren't you watching the Packers?"

Uuuum... no... I didn't even know they were on. That kneeling for our anthem and pissing on the flag really didn't set well with me. I don't know if I'll finally watch football this year or not. Maybe, if I don't hear or see anymore of this kneeling BS.

The whole deciding what a player is thinking when he hits someone gets on my nerves. Now we can think for everyone too? Hey, if you don't want to get hurt? Don't play football. Pretty easy formula.

Anyway, I was just teasing the Deadskin fan from back in the day when men played football and there was a Cowboys-Redskins rivalry that mattered and the Redskins STILL sucked :halo9:.

I really don't want to get into the whole NFL kneeling debate again. Everyone is entitled to put the tube on whatever it is that makes them happy. The NFL as an entity sucks nowadays, IMO. But there are fans on the board and this isn't something worth fighting over again to me.

You are correct. It was on an up-spring before Daniel Snyder became majority owner.
He acted like it was fantasy football, signing all sorts of bright, shiny players that hardly fit in.
Finally, he saw the light and got a General Manager.

Jerry Jones did the same thing with Dallas. He inherited a dynasty that was shaped by Tex Shramm
and Tom Landry, but drove it into the dirt by injecting himself in to day-to-day operations.

Caught this in the paper yesterday: Dallas has a new offensive coordinator and it's supposed to spice up the offence. Like that would be hard to do with all 3 plays they've had since Prescott became starter.

So the media is all up in arms because none of this "flash" has been seen in the pre-season. Probably the only answer Garrett ever gave that was worth a shit: "Not telegraphing our playbook for the opener against the Giants". That actually makes sense. Probably someone else said it and it was attributed to Garrett.

Dallas was #1 last year (guess the Skins were off) at having the most talent and went nowhere. About sums it up around here.

Skin's were beat up on the offensive line and at QB.
That's the fortunes of war in the NFL!

I was willing to go with the shitty owner thing, but THAT is just an excuse:laugh:

Naaah...just fact. Lose 4 of the 5 starting linemen and both QB's makes a huge difference.

Shitty owner? Yes!

Weird thing... I have that "voice command" on my mediacom remote that I can speak searches and whatnot, and I said "NFL," and it responded... "SORRY, WE CAN'T HELP YOU WITH THAT."

Patriots kicked ass even without AB. Steelers seem to be tired already.

I have't watched an NFL game in years, long before the kneeling, and if college football starts paying players I'm done there too.

College football wouldn't be a great big loss with the way my Razorbacks have sucked over the last several years.
