Councilmember Larry Gossett says power-washing the sidewalks bring up images of using hoses against civil rights activists.

The Seattle News reported:


Some committee members expressed concern about addressing the symptoms of the area’s problems without getting to the cause. Councilmember Larry Gossett said he didn’t like the idea of power-washing the sidewalks because it brought back images of the use of hoses against civil-rights activists.

Another council member, Claudia Balducci, suggested that the county consider using social-service employees in partnership with police.

They most certainly will not! I've been watching them ignore things for YEARS. For various reasons, they simply don't care about things. And the worst is when they are against something, then they are all for it when they get into office, and then back to being against it if the right controls things in Washington. It's pathetically obvious, and they get called out on it, and ignore that too.

Obstruct as much as possible and complain, whine and bitch. Then they will jam shit down your throat when they are in charge.

And then they have other things that are apparently regional based. Like being gay. They support the LGBTQ groups at all costs. There is no tolerance, just the gay way & what the left says. Unless you're a muslim. Then do as you please on the issue - whether that is being gay or if that may be chopping off heads or tossing blindfolded and handcuffed people off of 4 story buildings.
