Heard my favorite political radio personality today say that Trump is actually a lot like Ron and Rand Paul. Hmmm. I can kind of see it.

Anyone agree or disagree?

They were/are more polished politicians?

He definitely wants more isolationism which aligns with the Pauls.

I was thinking that like Libertarians, Trump doesn’t generally give a hoot about social issues. At best they take a far, far back seat to economic ones.

The Pauls are libertarians, they are not 'big government.' They only sound so similar when it comes to foreign affairs, especially US $$$ abroad and obviously $$$ wars.

It is about the $$$.

IMO, no way. I see Rand agreeing with this administration a lot, which is appreciated. But both him and his Dad I think were much different.

At first, when I read the title I thought this was going to say Trump announced a new 2020 partner in Rand - and I would have said no effing way!
