Achilles, Bloody Battles, Death's Black Hand As Was Fated
(Part Three) -Conclusion, to be posted today...

I am about to post here the third and final part of my very long Achilles series, the three part poem was started on 8-04- 2018, each part taking more
and more time to finish because of meeting the numerical challenge I had decided at the onset in including in my writing this long poem.
All three parts meeting the below counts given.....

Syllables Per Line:
0 12 12 14 14 0 12 12 14 14
0 12 12 14 14 0 12 12 14 14
0 12 12 14 14 0 12 12 14 14
0 12 12 14 14 0 12 12 14 14
0 12 12 14 14
Total # Syllables: 468
Total # Words: 340

Math being one of my favorite subjects I often include mathematical challenges in creating my poetry...
In this very long poem they are as follows
three times 468 syllables equals total of 1404 syllables.
three times 340 words equals total of 1020 words
1404 syllables + 1020 words equals a total of 2424....
This was a compromise from my original idea of writing a 2800 word poem on Achilles. I saw how I could shorten the long poem
and still get in my favorite number which is 24. and do so not once but twice.
Truth is, it has taken over a year to complete and part two took three times longer to compose than did part one, while part three has taken seven times longer than did part two- thus entire long poem has taken a bit over 13 months to complete.
My longest ever poem to complete. And certainly one that I will never dare to attempt again. As I now have on my agenda six other incomplete poem series that I must some day tackle, if my time on earth permits such in my- to date now, a bit over 49 year long poetic journey.
