The story was basically fine, the ending kinda sucked. And the point eludes me, even if it was meant to elude--it is a negative , Imho.
I do say the author very likely has far better in her , IMHO.
Hopefully such will come out in her future works.
I do not dismiss that others, especially of the younger generation, may find this story to be finely composed.

Certainly an environmental theme. It held my interest to the end.

Yes, I saw that flavor in it but wanted to avoid criticizing its apparent reference to global warming
and mankind's destruction of the planet.
I did that in order to concentrate on the positive attributes of the author's writing talents.
Kindly ignoring the perceived bias within the piece..--Tyr
