You see, IF he fits under the statute, then he would be entitled to anonymity. But here's the beauty - the media is under NO obligation to do so. Their obligation is ethical. They should do their homework and ensure their due diligence has been done, and they are 300% sure that they may be mentioning or outing the correct person. For example, in this case, reports are absolutely firm in the identity.
