Ok, he must be somewhat delusional himself! Anyone daring to think they will change DC for the long term is insane. And I know that's not what he said - but DC and the way it works, the above the law, covering backs, lack of investigations, rare indictments.... most of that will never change, IMO. They have built themselves a great system for one another, and that's the one and only thing that both sides tend to stay together on.

I would be MORE than thrilled if he gets anywhere from 3-10 people from the so called swamp out of there, arrested or whatever. But as far as damage.... small beans unfortunately. :(

But now, with this being teased for so long, and Barr and Durham in the wings..... but I truly think they may have latched onto something with this whole IG investigation and I'm dying to see who gets wrapped up in it. And I have spoken of these fisa warrant abuses for so long...

“I Caught the Swamp. I Caught Them All. Let’s See What Happens!” – President Trump Drops a Bombshell and Communications Director Dan Scavino Teases Major Development

For months there were rumblings that Inspector General Horowitz was going to release his report anytime on his investigation of FISA Court abuse during the 2016 election and into 2017.
And for months that news was delayed.

In May Attorney General Bill Barr appointed John Durham to review the origins of the Russia inquiry and the FBI’s surveillance activities. Just two weeks ago the Attorney General announced the investigation was now a criminal probe. And we have heard that the Durham criminal probe may have been going on for some time.

On Thursday President Trump’s online communication director Dan Scavino posted this ominous tweet – “TICK_TOCK”.

And now today President Trump said this during his presser,

“I caught the swamp. I caught them all. Let’s see what happens. Nobody else could have done it but me.”

DC was the same when I was there 30 years or so ago and aside from losing its veneer of diplomacy and proper decorum, or what there was of it then, it's the same. No elected official is going to change it. THAT would actually require armed force and forced relocation.

The bureaucracy is the everyday joe's who were born inside the Beltway and will die there, and suck off a government job in the interim.

However, depending in what he's got on who, he could dent the place pretty good :)
