Luckily there was no harm done before he was back in custody. But do these folks campaigning on getting rid of ICE, and those refusing to cooperate, or punishment to others if they do cooperate?

We have ICE for damn good reason. They make arrests for good reasons. Crimes, no matter who you are, should never be overlooked. And yet here is a guy who molested an 11 year old girl. ELEVEN YEARS OLD. Imagine if that was your child, or a relative? And then you find out that the district or area you are in PROTECTS this evil scumbag! They may not cooperate with law enforcement. An evil person like that can get tossed back into the streets with a "who cares, at least we aren't cooperating with ICE". These stories happen way too often and needs to be fully corrected. But hell, with the 2020 election right around the corner, we have some running on getting rid of them and many others supporting such agendas. I don't get it. Folks not supporting the law, not supporting agencies that make arrests to fix the problems.

Sanctuary County Ignores ICE and Releases Pedophile Who Was Molesting an 11-Year-Old Family Member

Montgomery County, Maryland, ignored an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer for an accused pedophile who allegedly molested an 11-year-old family member.

The sanctuary county allowed 47-year-old Guatemalan national Luis Fredy Hernandez-Morales, who is in the US illegally, to be released on bail on Wednesday, despite being a danger to the young girl, Kevin Lewis of ABC 7 reports.

“A warrant was issued for Hernandez-Morales’s arrest Oct. 29 for allegedly sexually abusing a minor. The Guatemalan national, according to investigators, touched a juvenile family member inappropriately on at least two separate occasions at the victim’s home in Montgomery County in July. He is also accused of attempting to engage the child in sexually explicit conversation, and tried to tell the victim not to discuss the incidents with others,” the Daily Caller reports.

Hernandez-Morales had first been arrested in Virginia, but was extradited to Montgomery County where he was later released.

“The best way to serve public safety is to work together,” ICE acting Field Office Director for Baltimore Frank Madrigal said in a statement provided to the DCNF on Friday. “Montgomery County had indicated they would securely transfer dangerous criminals to our custody rather than release them to the community where they can reoffend. These actions indicate they intend otherwise.”

Fortunately, federal ICE authorities were able to apprehend him on Friday and he is now in custody.

Question: In all the time this has been an issue, have you seen or heard of even one person being prosecuted for harboring fugitives at a minimum? I haven't. They act with impunity because they fear nothing.

Oh yeah, that one judge that let the illegal escape out the back of the courthouse. Kind of a no-brainer. Drug dealers are more guilty than drug users in court. Don't know why that doesn't apply to the facilitators of illegals violating Federal law.
