A few years later, not a single down played in the NFL and no interest from any teams. And yet here is the NFL kissing ass again.

I wouldn't sign him to my team if he was willing to play for free. I would still lose money. Many fans wouldn't show up, loss of ticket and jersey sales. Problems at the stadium. Just way too much distraction brought to a potential team.

NFL Arranges Private Workout For Colin Kaepernick

The NFL has put together a private workout for Colin Kaepernick.

According to Adam Schefter, the former 49ers quarterback will go through a training session in Atlanta on Saturday for teams, and interviews can be conducted afterwards.

Video of the session will be given to all 32 teams, which are all also invited to attend in person to watch the man who refused to stand for the anthem throw footballs.

This is comical. This is just straight up comical. Does anybody honestly believe Kaepernick will ever play in the NFL again?

The answer is no. No chance in hell he starts throwing passes on Sundays on an NFL field again. There’s a better chance I do, and I stopped playing football in the eighth grade.

Kaepernick can workout all he wants, he can do all the interviews he wants and he can stay in shape if he wants, but he’s not returning to the NFL.

He’s far too big of a distraction, and he upset way too many fans.

It’s borderline cruel for the league to even allow this. I’ll be shocked if a team takes a chance on him, but the NFL is apparently fine stringing him along. It’s almost sad to see.

Why are they going to get his hopes up if it’s just not going to happen?

Best of luck, Kaepernick! Something tells me he’s going to need all the help he can find to get back on a roster.

Completely agree. He's team poison and will cost more than he is worth.

It’s just CYA in case he sues them.

Ditto.

One of the first things asked should be: "Are you going continue your political and ant-social activism"?

It is o.k. to express beliefs, but not on the job site. To me that includes any clothing or objects worn identifying
with any team or the NFL on the whole.

If he does not denounce his urges, show his ass the door.

He's already sued them and settled for millions.

This may be part of the settlement.

Claim they gave him a shot? LOL He had more than a shot.

I'll say this again. If CK had been say Tom Brady he would have been playing all along. Kneeling or no kneeling.

In point of fact, he wasn't even cut because of the kneeling, he was offered a contract that reflected his talent and chose to test free agency instead . No other team wanted him. He could have been a backup for the 49ers all these years with a chance at who knows , but HE chose to become a free agent instead.

Those are just facts.

Just a way for NFL to save face and claim they gave him a shotLittle late for that don't you think. The NFL should have told his ass in camp and compete like everyone else. He lost his job because his talent reflected it before he pulled his Hitlery Clinton act blaming it on everyone and everything but himself.

No team that wants to have a team and go all the way is going to touch him. STTAB is absolutely correct. If he still had the skills, someone would have signed him. Probably Jerry Jones
