I don't know about this. What do you all think? He seems to want to government get out of the way and let the military take over operations for the CV.

I know the Feds usual suck and usually screw things up that their grubby little hands get on. But send in the guns all over, or just NYC?

Perhaps a mixture? The Feds have to handle this, but maybe they can utilize the mass numbers of the military and hospital ships.

I don't know too awfully much more to expect from Trump or what he thinks he personally screwed up on? He did travel warnings and closures (and again was racist at the time for doing so), started screening at airports back in January, declared public health emergence Jan 31st, barred all travel to Iran (lickers), Trump donated his 4th quarter salary to fight this virus, signed $8 billion dollar bill, then the national emergency, extended bans to UK/Ireland, tons and tons more things in the background... He is FAR from perfect, but I truly believe this time that he is a caring man about this and putting in the extra hours and energy to helping the country through this.

I still stand with what I said. Stop with all of the animosity and games and hatred. Work together instead of wanting to dismiss some and move in others.

Bill De Blasio Asks Trump To Deploy Military To Help Fight Coronavirus

Democratic New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio wants President Donald Trump to deploy the U.S. military to battle the coronavirus pandemic.

De Blasio told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” panel Friday that the president should “get the hell out of the way,” and let the military handle the situation.

“I know the quality and the devotion of the United States military,” de Blasio said. “If they got the order this hour to mobilize and get resources to the places in this country that are suffering, they would give it their all, and they have the best logistical capacity of any organization in America. No one doubts that.”

“They have an extraordinary group of medical personnel, and material and supplies that they could put on the ground,” de Blasio continued. “They know how to do it in a war, I assure you they could do it in their own country.”

The mayor then went on to rip Trump for not using enough of his powers to battle the rapidly-spreading virus.

“The order has not been given by the commander-in-chief because he’s not acting like a commander-in-chief. He doesn’t know how,” de Blasio said. “He should get the hell out of the way and let the military do its job.”

Despite de Blasio’s attacks, the president has been praised by Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo for his handling of the crisis. Cuomo said earlier this week that the administration “has been on it,” and is doing everything they can to help battle the pandemic. New York has had the most positive coronavirus tests of any state in the country.

DeBlasio is just a jerk that is jealous of the governor and the President. He craves power that no one wants him to have.

I must say, I've been shocked at how responsible Cuomo has been for more than a week now. I truly do not like him, but he's been a voice of calm and commonsense. I think the administration agrees, as they've been letting his address to serve more like a lead into the morning briefing.
