Has anyone been paying attention to what specifically happens? I know folks have trouble breathing and some end up needing a ventilator. I am NOT mocking here, true questions. Is it only bad at night? Chris Cuomo is describing some hell like feelings from this. "Beaten like a pinata, 103 degree fever, full on insomnia, hallucinations" -- and now "wicked phantasmagorical experiences" that are not dreams"

But when he has been on CNN in the morning/day/evening - and again not mocking or diminishing - he seems fine, sweat free and fairly normal.

With his connections, I wonder if he's able to get medication? And is it not working for him? He hasn't explained many breathing problems, but I also haven't heard this type of feedback from others that went through it. None ever said it was easy, they all said it is rough as hell, but not like what Chris describes. And I am wondering why his symptoms seem so much less during the day?

Part of me thinks he is exaggerating, and part makes me wonder if he is NOT able to get the mix medicine that supposedly works, and feedback says within 4-6 hours for many. How long I wonder before it can get out there? Why the different symptoms with Chris. All I know, is that from what he describes, I sure as hell don't want it, but it's better than a ventilator too. Figured with his brother he would be able to get the hydro medication and Zpak.

My understanding is that for those that can deal with it outside the hospital, it's like a really horrid bout of the flu. High temp and hallucination types of reactions possible. If you read about that friend of my niece and daughter, she had a weird smelling issue. Some people have digestive issues. Aches/pains, dry cough, sore throat early.

Breathing issues is a sign things are getting worse and hospital may be looming. Once that happens, things can go downhill pretty rapidly.

Some have more severe of any or all of the symptoms than others.

I saw a lot about folks losing their sense of scent, which is a kinda odd symptom. Then again, when I get a bad cold, I usually can't smell or taste worth a damn.
