9/11 is weary. 9/11 woke up tired this morning, staring at the clouds and rain, wishing she could just go back to bed. But 9/11 knows she doesn't get a break. Sure, sure, the other dates told her that after a while she would fade into memory, half-forgotten except for ceremonies that would drag her out of the house, but the reassurances of 12/7, 11/22, and 4/19 have proven to be wrong. It would be one thing to just have to get up on her namesake anniversary. But, no, 9/11 has to be out all the time, the favorite whore of politicians and pundits.

9/11 doesn't know who's gonna call on her. Every day, it seems, yes, that someone else rings her up and tells her to meet them at a speech or after an appearance. She knows the routine. She knows her job. 9/11 dresses in her mourning duds, the ones that look like she's paying respects to the dead, but with enough of a slit up the leg to let whoever her suitor is that night know that she is always available for them.

She's got her regulars, Giuliani and Bush and Cheney. They're the ones who like her on top, humping away, so they can stare at her used beauty, the Twin Towers of her breasts, the Pentagon of her mouth, the field in Pennsylvania above her pussy, and, god, how Giuliani squeezes her nipples, says his cock is a passenger jet before he plunges it into her. How Cheney can't get off unless he burns her with cigarettes. How Bush cries with gratitude whenever she's grinding away. "Without you, I'm nothing," he weeps. She knows that, but she always wishes she were elsewhere.

The worst is the campaign season. How she has to show up at the Republican debates to fellate each candidate. How she has to be under the desks at Fox hand-jobbing the O'Reillies and Hannities, fingering the Coulters and Malkins. How Joe Lieberman has done things to her so disgusting she wants to burn them out of her mind. She wanted to be a high-price escort, but she knows that, even though everyone thinks she's so good at what she does and say how much they respect her, she's no different than a Lower East Side Suicide Girl-wannabe trick.

9/11 wants just to be loved. She wants someone to take care of her and tell her she doesn't have to do this anymore. She doesn't wanna be the American alpha and omega. She just wants flowers, a nice ritual or two, and then a simple thoughtful note every now and then.

But, no. That's not 9/11's lot in this world. She's resigned to this life of abuse, her legs spread, her mouth open, ready to go to the next call. She doesn't exist in and of herself, only as an accessory. She has become the roughly nailed hot lover, the one anyone can point to and say, "See that piece of ass? I fucked her. And then I turned her over and fucked her again."

And, sadly, 9/11 believes that's all she'll ever be.

Unfortunately, it is the truth. You have GOP candidates and supporters who use the memory of Sept. 11 as a well-worn sex slave, pulling her out whenever convenient to get their point across.
Too bad your pathetic chorus of political violins is growing weaker by the day. The American people are starting to hear the truth, not the bullshit that continues to be rendered by Bush apologists.

911 should have been a date we all came together on.

It started out that way.

The world loved us and felt one with us right after 911 and said they would have our backs.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Bush took the opportunity of a lifetime and used it in such a way that the American people are at each others throats.

It will be his biggest legacy.

That's the thing about internet blogging. The "author" can hide behind the computer to generate any piece of garbage, and anyone with a scummy agenda can copy it. While the act of creation and propagation of such trash debases the author and the copier, it has no effect on the reader once the short first blush of disgust is past.

3. Libs politicized the war to try to regain Congress and the White House.

Why are you people so loyal to Bush over your country?

It is really wierd how you will protect one man by calling your own countrys population all sorts of names and accuse them of non exsistant things.

There are Americans who are soldiers who have lost their lives fighting who are liberals and or Democrats.

There are liberals and or Democrats fighting today for our country.

You hate anyone who doesnt agree with you and even insult the democratic process by pretending the the congress just materialised into a Dem congress without a vote from America.

Once again you are working hard to proove my point that Bush has severely devided our country and lost us the worlds respect.

I have not seen any Bush bashing by anyone on here who talks to me on the conservative side.

I encourage the truth and you interpret it to be an attempt at division.

I am surprised you are very surprised. you liberals are the masters of ignoring content because of the way its presented.

For example, the 2004 debates. You guys all proclaimed Kerry the winner because he spoke better than President Bush. Yet you completely ignored what Kerry actually said. I dont care how eloquent you say it, giving Iran nuclear materials is a bad idea. But you dont care about that.

I am a substance person. But if you cant present your arguments in a way that doesnt make you look like a 14 year old. No one is ever going to take you seriously even if you have all the facts in the world.

Its not hard to focus on spelling and grammar. Its actually a very considerate thing to do. There is truth in the fact that presentation is important.

I call 'em like I see 'em. If that annoys you, sir, then tough shit.

What really annoys someone is that Bush is right. The surge is working, Al Queda's on the run. Much to your chagrin.

As usual, you Lefties were wrong. Big surprise. You liberals can fuck up a one car funeral on a one way street. You were wrong about Vietnam, you were wrong about the Cold War, you're wrong on the War on Terror. You liberals have managed to bat zero on every important issue that has come along.

In generations to come, school children will learn about terrorist sympathizers and enablers and you and Gabosaurus will be counted amongst them.

Good luck finding curtains to fit the windows in your new home, the ashbin of history.

That's how I see 'em and that's how I'm callin' 'em, and if you don't like it, fongool, baby.

I believe the "cock" imagery is very appropriate for Sept. 11. Since Bush has been taking it from the Saudi Royal Family since he first took office. And passed it along to the American people.

You defend what is indefensible. Perhaps someday Gabosaurus, someone will be using your grave as a toilet. If so, it will be apropos.

whats with you lately? You are even worse than usual. Why the heck do you hate remembering 9/11 so much? What the heck is wrong with the surge going well? What would be so damn bad about us winning in Iraq?

I hope you really are doing well. The surge is not, the war is not, the president is not and the repoopooblican party is not. The "Freedom and Liberty" liars are about exhausted. It's time for the true purveyors of Freedom and Liberty to come forth into political POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The truth will set you free, a'21. Why don't you seek it?

BTW, for a 17 year old gabby is just so damn cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Except the fact that the number of attacks was down BEFORE the surge, and hit new records AFTER the surge. It appears the only surge came from the other side.

Anyone who writes this filth should not even be respected as a human being. That ANYONE could enter this thread and attempt to justify this is beyond comprehension. This is not only sensationalism at it's worst, it's downright despicable and a spit in the face to those who perished on 9/11 and those who were brave enough to assist. I'm astonished that not EVERYONE who reads this would state it's just plain wrong.

She'd prefer to cherrypick. Find one article/chart on one site, then another from an article from another country.

Truth be told, MAJOR attacks have went down dramatically since the increase in troops, nearly 50% since the surge began. Tips from local Iraqi's have quadrupled to over 20,000 per month. It's quite obvious that the strength has diminished and they are relegated to smaller attacks. Locals are starting to slowly turn against Al Qaeda. The only increase I've seen or read about was from Shiite militias, who are obviously taking advantage of things to try and take sectarian control.

you could also look at it as more soldiers = more targets, so yah, when a bunch of troops show up yah, there will be an increase of attacks and such. that is like being surprised when they put in a new highway and ppl are shocked at how many cars are now going by and shit

i will say one thing though, those 'off-limit' zones are bullshit.

Don't pull that silly shit. One cherry picked stat won't give a true picture of what the surge has accomplished. Your troll-like postings and tunnel won't get you anywhere near the truth that you claim matters so much.

Except the fact that the number of attacks was down BEFORE the surge, and hit new records AFTER the surge. It appears the only surge came from the other side.

An attack is an offensive action. The US troops are under taking offensive actions with the surge. It's not a matter of attacks by al queda, but of combat actions. For every "attack" carried out by al queda there are 20 attacks by US and iraqi forces. Every raid on a house is an attack. Every response to a sniper is an attack. When US troops are attacked they attack back.

al queda did start making attacks before the surge started. They wanted to disrupt the surge and gain political points with people like you. Their surge was defeated and is continuing to be defeated. al queda losses an average of 1500 men a month. Without iraqi's to replace those men they are going to run out of troops real soon. That's why foriegn fighters are pouring into iraq. Fighters that would have been in other areas are being funneled there and killed. It's all part of the big plan.

Why are you people so loyal to Bush over your country?

We are loyal to the country, not Bush. If you bothered to read anything you would know that. It's the silly Bush hatred that we condemn. It permeats everything you do and say.

It is really wierd how you will protect one man by calling your own countrys population all sorts of names and accuse them of non exsistant things.

You are moonbats, pure and simple. You are not a majority in this country. You have NO common sense or respect for anyone that disagrees with you. The only thing you are accused of is being incredibly stupid. Ignorance is just a lack of knowledge, stupid is refusing to seek that knowledge.

There are Americans who are soldiers who have lost their lives fighting who are liberals and or Democrats.

There are Americans in the military who are democrats. There are a few who are liberals. The liberal ones are there for their own agendas. No liberal will ever make a career of the military.

There are liberals and or Democrats fighting today for our country.

see above

You hate anyone who doesnt agree with you and even insult the democratic process by pretending the the congress just materialised into a Dem congress without a vote from America.

This sentence makes no sense.

Once again you are working hard to proove my point that Bush has severely devided our country and lost us the worlds respect.

You want an undivided country. Step over to my side and show support for the troops and the administration. Your anxious to surrender to the islamists. You should be willing to surrender to my side for world peace and a united country. All you have to do is hide your head until Bush leaves office.

What kind of respect do you want from the world? Do you want dictaors to respect us or fear us? Do you earn respect by inaction?

If your going to respond be sure you read the whole post and not just scan it and make offhanded remarks.

I cant believe you just said this.

You dont support and question the motives of soldiers in the Iraq war who happen to be liberals.

I have NEVER said anything unsupportive of the troops no matter what their beliefs.

YOU are who divides this country not me and the Majority of Americans who voted in a democratic congress to try and stop this admin. from further damaging this country.

Deaths of Soldiers 'Brings It Home' For 'NYT' Editorial Page Editor

By Joe Strupp

Published: September 12, 2007 11:45 AM ET

NEW YORK The deaths in Iraq of Sgt. Omar Mora and Sgt. Yance Gray are hitting closer to The New York Times than most, according to Editorial Page Editor Andrew Rosenthal. That's because the duo were among seven soldiers who penned a controversial Times column critical of some elements of the war just last month.

"It brings it home and it reminds you how distant most people are from this war," said Rosenthal, who said the soldiers sent the column unsolicited to the paper seeking its publication. "It would be ludicrous to say this war has now touched us, but it has in a way. These are guys who had been more public."

Mora and Gray, who died Monday in a vehicle accident in Western Baghdad, were among seven soldiers who co-wrote the column that ran in August and raised concerns about the operation there.

Among the column's statements: "In short, we operate in a bewildering context of determined enemies and questionable allies, one where the balance of forces on the ground remains entirely unclear."
