Well, Russian anyway. This is a Smith and Wesson DA .44 Russian 1st Model a.k.a. New Model Navy #3 (1883-84). Marvelous firearm although I'm uncertain if those pearls are original since the fit is a bit off, although I've seen photos of other Russians with similarly fitting pearls. I'll have to post pics of target groupings sometime. In Soviet Russia gun shoots you.
