Buddy of mine just posted his pics of the Trump Boat Parade on Lake Havasu in AZ the other day. Some very very nice boats there!

Oh, that baby has power for days! He's got them all custom-wrapped so it's hard to tell, but those outboards are at least 250s. Possibly 350s. And he's got 4 of them, lol! :2up:

It's not the power, it's the application. First, that's a fiberglass hull - the first time you scratched a gravel bar with her, chunks of gel coat are coming off.

Then, that's a V-hull, designed to cut through waves instead of skimming over the top. She'll ride much lower in the water with that design.

Finally, all 4 of those outboards are long-shafts with big props, so they stick down way below the boat.

Nope, buddy, you wouldn't even make it out of the boat launch in Talkeetna with that rig. I'd say you need a minimum of 3' with that. Maybe even closer to 4.
