"Absurd" and "nonsensical". We could have gotten THAT answer to the "slippery slope" from the Dems without bothering to ask China. "There's no such thing"

I bet they were one of the first to sign the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty. That way they could catch up without worrying about what anyone else was doing.

We better get our shit together.

UPDATED 8:00 AM PT — Sunday, July 19, 2020China has criticized Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s recent comments regarding the Iran arms embargo. During a press conference Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying rebuked Pompeo by saying an extended arms embargo would be nonsensical
This came after Pompeo predicted Iran would receive dangerous weapons from China once the embargo expires in October. Additionally, China responded to President Trump’s remarks that the country might be executing nuclear tests.
“Among the five nuclear countries recognized by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, China conducted the least number of nuclear tests,” said Chunying. “China is also one of the first countries to sign the treaty of comprehensive bans on nuclear tests…China has consistently upheld the treaty’s purposes and objectives.”
China also rejected the notion that the country is stealing U.S. coronavirus intelligence by calling the accusation “absurd.”
