RIYADH, Saudi Arabia -- Ahmad al Shayea is the rarest of truck bombers -- he survived his suicide mission in Iraq even though the blast from his bomb was strong enough to kill 12 bystanders.

Ahmad al Shayea survived his truck bomb attack, but not without scarring to his face and hands.

Al Shayea, who was disfigured during the attack, claims al Qaeda tricked him into becoming a bomber by asking him to deliver a tanker truck, which they had rigged with a bomb.

Al Qaeda cant even get recruits to kill themselves for their cause... they really must be losing.

so from the article....he was a Saudi...that was in Iraq...and AQ wanted him to drive this truck...but not an "exploding" one this time..and then he was all offeneded and hurt when his AQ buddies really did blow up the truck on him, so he renounced terrorism and went home to Saudi....yah..ok then. sound like a load of bull plop to me. atleast he claims to have gained a second view on life and is speaking out against it.....would be cool if it was true.

Sorry bout that,

1. *Guilt* by association.
2. He was a fellow AQ henchman.
3. Even thou he says he was tricked, one can not truly know for sure.
4. They should hang the bastard!
5. He should not go free whatsoever.
6. He drove a truck that killed innocent people, well innocent enough, they hadn't killed anyone that we know of that day.
7. So we give the benefit of the doubt.
8. Lets just say, they didn't deserve to die that day.
9. And this AQ member killed them, without a cause.
10. He deserves death, by any measure you meet out justice.
