And I completely get that when you get hit with covid-19 and it takes it's toll, and you overwhelm the hospitals and doctors - and then you finally start coming back and reducing things to more than acceptable rates - that you may want to keep it there. I get that. But this twit of a woman has been doing everything she possibly can to work against Trump. And she's declaring a state of emergency or extending it, and causing her citizens to suffer as a result. And for what? Since the beginning of all of this:

Corrupt Oregon Democrat Governor Extends COVID State of Emergency through November 3 – Election Day — While Rioters Continue to Ravage Communities

Oregon Governor Kate Brown decided to extend her coronavirus state of emergency through election day on November 3rd.

Of course this has nothing to do with the coronavirus which has had minimal affect on Oregon’s residents.

FOX News TV in Portland reported:

Governor Kate Brown has again extended her declaration of a state of emergency regarding COVID-19 for an additional 60 days, the governor’s office announced on Tuesday.

This is the second time Gov. Brown has extended the state of emergency declaration. The governor first did so in June, just before the Fourth of July weekend and was scheduled to end on Sept. 4.

The decision to extend the state of emergency again was in part due to Labor Day weekend and students beginning a new school year, according to the governor.

“When I last extended the COVID-19 state of emergency in June, I told Oregonians that we were at a crossroads: we could work together to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Oregon, or we could watch infections and hospitalizations spike,” Gov. Brown said. “Now, six months after this crisis began, we have made progress. Together, we have slowed the spread of this disease. Oregon has one of the lowest mortality rates in the country. But, as students across Oregon begin a school year far different than any other before, it is clear that, at current COVID-19 levels, it will not be safe in much of the state for children to return to in-classroom instruction for months to come.”

“This Labor Day weekend is another critical moment in this crisis,” continued Gov. Brown. “We can work together to stay safe and put Oregon on the path to return more students to classrooms. Or, we could see Labor Day celebrations unknowingly sow the seeds of COVID-19 outbreaks that could set us back for months. Until there is an effective vaccine for COVID-19, this disease can spread like wildfire if we let our guard down. Small social get-togethers like barbecues and family celebrations have fueled wider community outbreaks in counties across Oregon. This weekend, you have a choice. Please, stay local this Labor Day, and practice safe COVID-19 habits. Wear a face covering, watch your physical distance, and wash your hands.”

The state of emergency is now in place through Nov. 3.

Clearly the Democrat Oregon Governor’s actions are political and unsubstantiated.

We know that only 6% of all reported China Coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths nationwide are due to COVID-19 alone. This comes from the CDC website.

The reason coronavirus has had a minimal effect on Oregon is because they've been locked down.

I really don't get the right wing talking point on co-morbidities. Are the people who died as a result of the effects of covid and their co-morbidities somehow less dead than people who had no known co-morbidities?

Dead is dead. There are no style points involved.

Such imbecilic ramblings as you just gave are the reason why Conservative, Republican, knowledgeable citizens have such utter disdain and abject
contempt for people like you.......l
You and people that imagine(quite insanely) that they are godlike in wisdom and so vastly superior to any that do not see as they do..
It would be and stay utterly laughable if the tragic consequences from it were not so very grave..-Tyr

Not true, Oregon has handled their process pretty much the same as everywhere else. Maybe other than my shitty state of course.

Because many people probably would have otherwise died anyway. They didn't "of the results of covid" & in addition many many out there died that simply turned out to have the virus after the fact. Things like a vehicle or motorcycle accident and someone happened to have the virus as well. Obviously what killed them was the accident. And other cases of doctors stating someone died from a bad disease, but yes was complicated with the virus. All the things leading to higher numbers than necessary and higher death counts than necessary. It's not a talking point and simply analyzing covid-19 and the deadliness.

Have a nice day.

Yeah, there's been 150k vehicle deaths counted as covid deaths.

Where do you get this stuff?

In addition to the death count in its entirety, I mentioned an example of how a few accidents were counted as covid deaths when obviously the crash is what caused their death. I also mentioned that folks dying from an illness they were suffering from and was going to kill them anyway. A few even corrected after the fact that they actually died from the underlying disease.

It's only you and your imagination that somehow this is twisted into a couple of events to 150,000 instead.

I thought better, but appears you may be another in a very long list that replies with one liners. Another one who rewrites what one said and then rolls eyes at it or laughs at it.

If you prefer not to discuss a subject and provoke what I say instead, all good with me. I'll just move on when you choose to do so. And yeah yeah, I know, ya don't care and don't give any fucks. I don't either!
