Part of what he mentions, but in regards to this upcoming election - and also applies to the SC and other decisions - elections have consequences. Every single one does. Same for every single seat in the house and senate and things collectively. But when Republicans are making decisions, like voting for a new SC justice - the Dems try to make it sound as if it were illegal. Nope, they just own the senate right now, as they did in 2016.
Jorge rocks!! What a fighter to watch, entertaining and tough as hell! Him and Nate Diaz were the two who just recently fought for the so called BMF title belt. Short for "Baddest Mother Fu****" in the UFC. Jorge won by TKO. But, Jorge is not the biggest or baddest, I reserve that for the middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight fighters. Plus, he's only the 4th ranked for his own division. Gotta be a title holder at least to be considered the best. Kamaru Usman holds that title in his division, and he would destroy Masvidal, IMO. He's 17-1 and his only loss was before he entered the UFC. Masvidal is no slouch and fought much more, and his record is 35-14.
Anyway, back to politics. - He says he has always saw things through a sports lens - makes Trump our head coach - and that prior to the pandemic we were winning super bowls, and when winning SB's you don't fire the coach.
Says you don't replace him with another coach who has been in the business for 47 years at every level and never won a fu**ing game!
Decent analogy and makes sense. And oh, I guess I gotta preface this with "It's only his opinion". :dunno: :coffee:

At a recent event, the MMA great took to the stage and proclaimed, “The democrats just think they are entitled to the Latino vote, that think that we just have to hand it over to them,” says Masvidal, “We sure as hell don’t.” He continues, “We’re not going to buy the same wolf tickets and false promises that destroyed great countries like Venezuela and Cuba.”
Then directly rips Biden: “You know what else is not gonna work for them? Playing Despacito on your cell phone to pander to us. Hell no!”
“We either reelect President Trump and Keep America Great,” he wraps up to a raucous applause, “Amen. Or we let Joe Biden destroy the greatest country the world has ever seen,” to a chorus of boos.
Masvidal goes on to liken Trump a football coach who wins Super Bowls, and Biden to a coach who’s been in the business for 47 years and never won a game.
The events seem to be cosponsored by MMA training gym American Top Team, home of several notable fighters, as their logo is prominently displayed.
Trump has taken notice and gave Masvidal a shout out:
