Why? My guess is they didn't want to cast 'no' votes, she's more popular than any of them.

^^ couldn't agree more!

The dems are truly despicable. Gonna show high levels of disrespect for this woman, a new SC justice, because they don't like Trump or republicans. Fuck her because of them.

And yet with that, and Schumer crying and forcing useless votes - just sit back and watch her get sworn in. It's simply not changing, and the fact is they are only making themselves look stupid and disrespectful. And the only people that may give a shit about their antics would be the far left ID 10 T's aka PC way of saying far left fucking idiots.

Senate panel votes to confirm Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett

Oct. 22 (UPI) — About a month after President Donald Trump nominated her for the U.S. Supreme Court, the Senate judiciary committee on Thursday approved Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation and sent it to the full Senate for a final vote.

Her nomination now approved by the committee, it will advance for a full Senate vote, which Republican leader Mitch McConnell said will occur on Monday.

The panel’s 12 Republican members voted in favor of Barrett’s nomination and all 10 Democratic members boycotted the hearing and did not vote.

Trump nominated Barrett to the high court on Sept. 26 to succeed Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died a week earlier.

Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer tweeted Wednesday that Democrats in the chamber would boycott the “illegitimate markup” of Barrett’s nomination and not provide the required quorum. But Republicans had the ability to make a procedural change and approve the appointment.

Schumer also said he would force a vote to adjourn the Senate until after the Nov. 3 election, a move aimed at preventing the chamber from giving Barrett a final vote.

“We are not going to have business as usual here in the Senate while Republicans try to use an illegitimate process to jam through a Supreme Court nominee,” he wrote.

Most people get fired for not showing up to work. Especially when working on a deadline.

Deceitful...Vile anti-America "Democrats" who have guaranteed salaries don't consider themselves as "most people"

The real question to me is which Republican't is going to screw it up. Last I heard, Collins said she wouldn't consider it until after the election. "Fair is fair" was her comment.

She may have had a change of heart since then (been a a couple of weeks), but I can't get past "fair is fair". Does she mean "fair" like the Dems have been playing the past 20 years? Or is there a new "fair" I haven't heard of?

Well, I guess Monday is the end of the world? Everything changes and babies will die now. In order to save society and save the world, the democrats will take on the mission to save us all, and come in at the last minute and prevent imminent destruction by adding 4 justices to the bench. Then they will create 2 new states to add security for all of us. And they will place their own lives on the line in order to spend wisely $93 trillion dollars to ensure climate change doesn't snuff us out in 11 years or so, and counting down. To celebrate these monumental accomplishments, they will allow abortions for all & no more laws. :thanks::thewave:

Our entire government needs a house cleaning. Maybe we could dare hope for some real people that serve our society instead of self interest?

I don't see it happening. Those that care about family and country don't want to expose them to the slime that is now the norm from media and oppositional party. It's all about now, literal destruction.

With Collins I can understand wanting to appease her base, but Murkowski? That one baffles me. Maybe they both had abortions at some point and feel guilty.
