Well, it was bound to happen.

Sean Connery has died. Obviously his most iconic role was James Bond, but there were so many there so many other roles the entertained us. One Oscar, for The Untouchables. He hadn't worked since 2012. I remember some controversy he stirred up after an interview in which he said smacking a woman wasn't the worst thing in the world... imagine him say that these days...

One of my all time favorite actors who just got better looking as he aged.

R.I.P. Sir Sean.

What an actor, and for so long! 1954 - 2012 & 94 total movie credits to his name. That's a helluva career!

I loved him in so many flicks. I think Never say Never Again was my intro to Connery and he probably already had 40-50 movies to his name. Untouchables, Indiana Jones, Hunt for Red October, Just Cause was great & then The Rock, another of my faves with him. Finding Forrester I think was the last flick I saw him in.

At least he was 90 and had a great life. RIP Mr. Connery

I agree. The best Bond without a doubt.

He was one of my favorite actors too.

I read that he abruptly quit acting when he watched League of Extraordinary Gentlemen... he was so disgusted with how it turned out he hung it up for good.

I think Hunt for Red October was my favorite movie of his.

He played Draco, the dragon, in Dragonheart (one of my favs) and it was just his voice but I still loved it. His voice was just as sexy as his persona.

Two favorites of mine with his finest acting. "Hunt For Red October" and "Untouchables".

He was pure class. RIP Sir Sean! Your memory will live forever.

Technically, Never Say Never Again is not officially a Bond film.
