In my opinion, Trump lost the election because of GOP Never Trumpers. Consider NE-02 and its one electoral vote. Trump lost NE-02, but Congressman Don Bacon won. That means some people voted for Don Bacon, but not Trump. There are examples like this all across the country. I call BS on a "Republican" who voted for Biden. I tend to believe those who voted third party or left the Presidential line blank. It turns out that Trump was NOT a drag on the party, but only because voters were sophisticated enough to differentiate between supporting Trump and supporting the GOP.
