If the Cleveland Indians change their logo to Mahatma Gandhi, they can keep the name, avoid all this confusion and satisfy the cultural Marxists, which we all know are avid baseball fans (NOT!). If they do drop the name and give up its copyright, I would recommend repurposing the name for one of the teams in a Northern Ohio Hackathon.

It's unclear how Cleveland will refer to itself during the upcoming season. One option is to keep the name for an additional year before then transitioning to a new identity; another is to go the route of the National Football League's Washington franchise, which dropped its own offensive nickname in July (https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/washington-announces-retirement-of-redskins-franchise-name-and-logo-with-new-nickname-to-be-chosen/). The club has since been known as the Washington Football Team. Cleveland would, presumably, be called the Cleveland Baseball Team until a new nickname could be settled upon.

This gave me an even better idea. Start outsourcing our baseball players with cheaper H1-B visa recipients! Major League Baseball could save a fortune on salaries! The Cleveland Indians could play the Washington Krishnas!
