In December of 2016, a right wing web site published an article castigating liberals for refusing to accept the fact that Donald Trump won the election. It is an interesting read now with the "refusal to accept" shoe on the other foot. ----------> https://www.cnsnews.com/commentary/l-brent-bozell-iii/double-standard-election-acceptance ----------> Guthrie turned to retired anchorman Tom Brokaw to denounce Trump. He said: "This is not a banana republic. We've got more than 200 years of presidential elections and graceful and peaceful transitions to the new administration. As you saw, even Richard Nixon, Al Gore, the people who were caught up in very close races, said, 'I accept that this is the new president.'" Trump won the election handily with 304 electoral votes, and Democrats flip-flopped, sullenly refusing to accept the results. And so did the "objective" media. On Dec. 18, there was no "earthquake" at NBC when Hillary Clinton aide John Podesta refused to say that President-elect Trump won a free and fair election. He said instead that it was rigged by the Russians. And it was the ballot errors. And FBI Director James Comey. And the fake news epidemic. And the Constitution — that blasted Electoral College! Nobody brought in Brokaw to lecture Team Hillary about banana-republic behavior.

There was, as you obviously forgot, a two year investigation against Trump regarding Russian Collusion in the 2016 election which, as you may or may not know, produced no evidence of the sort. Yet, your side continues telling that lie.

We, on the other hand, are citing allegations of a pattern of voter fraud, it's been less than a few weeks since the election, and your side is accusing us of destroying Democracy.

In addition, the Clinton campaign, as you also have obviously forgotten, spied on the Trump campaign and your heroes, Joe Biden and Barak Obama, were in on it. The campaign lied to a FISA court that they had verified evidence of collusion and the FBI director signed off on it. I remember a similar situation in the early 1970s, when the Nixon campaign allegedly broke into DNC campaign headquarters at the Watergate building complex. Back then, a president had to resign or face impeachment but today, one of the conspirators was elected president. We obviously live in a more enlightened time.

More enlightened times indeed.
We have a democrat party that hates our Constitution, hates our military, hates any thought of American patriotism, elected as their hero one obama that toured the world apologizing for our sins, and now elects one corrupt buffoon Joe Biden that has not even an ounce of integrity.
That is the kind of ""enlightenment"" that was once so rightly cited as being destructive, evil and abjectly foolish to the nth degree.
Is there such a word as -"" endarkenment"" if not there should be and it be attributed to the totally arrogant, corrupt Dem party and its very, very destructive agenda. imho. -Tyr
