Declaring martial law and using the military to enforce redo the 2020 election in battleground states? Contradicting your own intelligence advisors and trusting the Russians instead? Taking advice from criminals and crackpots? Trump needs to be taken into protective custody for his own safety. And that of the nation as a whole. He is no longer in control of his sanity. ---------> https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/12/trump-losing-his-mind/617446/

Taken into protective custody? :lol::lol::laugh2::laugh2:

Don't worry, not much longer and you and the MSM won't have to continue to be gullible and/or lie or a combination of both.

Funny stuff though.

TDS started strong and fast and is going on as fast and as furious as the movies. And the folks in TDS land are in about as much reality.

Time for Seal team 6!! :thumb:

Seal Team 6 might be needed to flush Trump out of the Oval Office. It would be entertaining to watch him do the Perp Walk on Inauguration Day. Even John Cornyn and Mitch McConnell have given up on Trump. History will not remember Trump kindly.

Too bad your story is BS and Trump himself even knocked the press and the idea once again.

Time will be up soon, as well the illness. :)

Well, I'm sure you'll be proven correct again when he declares as much.

Without even knowing it gabby...you are proving what most of us have already stated about the Dems, DNC, Obama, Biden, Pelosi....and hundreds of other Radical Lefties.

You are using your own rules where pushing blame on the President actually is a MIRROR of what YOU, and the rest of the RADICAL TDS infected Socialists always have been doing to distract, and deny your own ACTIONS. Thanks...have a happy week of frustration from all of us.

Be careful what you wish for. Would you like for arrests to be standard operating procedure when there is an ideological shift in government?

I could have seen this during this summer's "peaceful protests" when Antifa and Black Lies Matter Communists were torching our cities. I wish he had.

And if Congress gave him the power to do so, there was nothing you could do about it. Why?

Article I Section 9 Clause 2 of the US Constitution

"The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it."

During the Civil War, Congress passed the Habeas Corpus Suspension act, which was signed into law. And six months later, the writ was suspended and journalists, among others, were jailed simply because they were against the war effort.

So, the President, if Congress allows, can suspend the writ and jail CNN reporters, the bitches at "The View", and so on (we can only dream).

Speaking of which, pray that New York Times vs. Sullivan is overturned. That piece of trash adjudication is gives "news" organizations such CNN and MSNBC absolute immunity from libel lawsuits. That's why the Atlantic, CNN and MSNBC can run roughshod over Trump, compare him to Hitler, make claims about his mental stability without having to worry about libel.

https://www.mtsu.edu/first-amendment/article/997/libel-and-slander

Of course, this gives the DNC unwarranted and unprecedented power to pump their propaganda into gullible minds such as what's her name.

But if the press could be sued for libel... CNN and MSNBC would have to resort to doing previously unheard of things, like actually practice journalism, avoid making statements without first fact checking, and avoid having to make personal attacks on elected officials just because they don't agree with their views.

By The Way, there is a thing called the Goldwater Rule, which states that it is unethical for psychiatrists to give a professional opinion about public figures whom they have not examined in person, and from whom they have not obtained consent to discuss their mental health in public statements.

So, although the Atlantic is not a psychiatrist, per se, they seem to be violating a code of ethics by claiming someone to be mentally incompetent without a mental examination by a competent mental health professional.....

But hey, if you want to believe that Trump is going to declare martial law, knock yourself out. I have some prime real estate in Area 51 and a slightly used UFO (only has 10 light years on it, was driven by a little old Martian on Sundays), that I'd love to sell you... along with a couple of tickets to Elvis's next Vegas performance.

Regarding putting President Trump into protective custody. How does your side come up with this nonsense? We are a country governed by the US Constitution, not the ravings of journalists at The Atlantic.

There is a thing called the Twenty Fifth Amendment.

Section 3 of Amendment

In a case of presidential disability, the Vice President and most of the President’s cabinet must transmit to the President Pro Tempore and Speaker of the House a document stating that the president is incapable of carrying out his duties. In this case, the Vice President then becomes president.

Note that there is no protective custody mentioned.

You may want to familiarize yourself with this amendment, Gabby. The Democrats will be using it to oust Biden and replace him with Kamala Harris.

Lord help us these next four years. If we don’t end up speaking Mandarin and living like the Amish, it will be a miracle.

CNN, MSNBC, Morning Joe & his pet Mika, CBS, NBC, ABC, Washington Post, NY Times, Salon, Vox, Huffington Post, LA Times, Buzzfeed, Newsweek...

But mainly CNN, MSNBC, NBC - and then the rest eat it up and regurgitate it to the masses.

Rest assured, when you hear asinine statements - look them up for a few minutes and you'll find that many/most stem from nitwits at the top. And that explains why you very rarely see links.

We all need to remember. EVERY Name mentioned above ALSO insisted...

HILLARY WON! Swore Mueller would find RUSSIAN connections, and...

THEY ALL CHEERED TO HAVE THE PRESIDENT IMPEACHED.

Which leaves the question...."So how did all of their crazy plans work?"

Funny, I just read it, not seeing much from the Rs in pork this time. Not saying there isn't, just all things mentioned in the article you linked to are from D controlled states and progressive program type spending.

I was trying to be reasonable myself in the amount of pork and just tossing it and getting what needs to be done, done. There's little doubt where the majority of it came from though. :(

You made a comment about pork in the bill and both sides. 2 people saw it differently than you, and Sassy asked you to backup your comments. Rather than making a comment, and then backing it up when asked, you deflect.

Filling in bills with extra BS aka pork is costly no matter which side it originates from, but it DOES matter where it started. You can't blame both sides if both sides didn't shove it in there.

There is $1.4 billion for construction of the border wall. That is certainly pork. Biden needs to shut down all construction. The stories I read stated that there was lots of pork on both sides, but listed very few individual examples. I have yet to read anything that breaks down which party is responsible for each item.

I think you are the youngest person posting here these days Gabby, so your post just offended everyone. It's sad that you, a "compassionate", woke liberal feels that it's ok to denigrate seniors.
