My husband and I got to experience a few months after we got married. We deferred our honeymoon to December and spent it in Melbourne. It would be a much stranger experience for someone from a northern state, as December is summer in Australia. You can wear warm weather clothes and go to the beach. Or spend all day sitting in the sun watching the Boxing Day cricket test. Yeah, sounds like Christmas in Tucson. I'm still wearing sleeveless dresses and flipflops. It was 78° here yesterday.

A bit cooler here, more like 73. From here on out though, seeing 60s and 50s. Brrrrrrrrrr
