So not a peep about protesters during the year, nor the rioters. Nothing. But everyone else it was mandatory. But whenever the right had any type of event - they were called out every time for anyone not wearing a mask.
Now masks are mandatory everywhere, as it was throughout the year. And I pointed out that folks were already on top of these idiots for not wearing a mask and showing off their hypocrisy again.
But this crap is too far. Inside the chambers. After the people were already inside the building. The police and other security lined up furniture and blockaded what they could to prevent anyone from getting in. They also had guns drawn and at the ready. It was a wild scene in there. Congress members were laying on the ground behind chairs. Many were already escorted out and others waiting. It was a tense seen.
Ever been in ANY tense scene or place where you feel you may get in a fight or something may break out, or worse, you feel like you may be in danger or your life in danger? It does and will affect your breathing and get you hyped up in one manner or another. Heartbeat increase. And it would be SO SO much easier to breathe without a mask. This shit is nitpciking way too far for my liking and just finding another reason for condemnation where it doesn't belong.

CBS Bashes Maskless GOP Rep. Who Helped Protect the House During Siege
When Trump-backed insurrectionists stormed the Capitol viciously beating Capitol Police and chanting “hang Mike Pence,” leading to the death of five people, Republican Congressman Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma was one of the few lawmakers who sprang into action to help police protect their colleagues and reporters in the chambers. But according to multiple CBS reporters, he was a terrible guy because he did it all while refusing to wear a facemask.
In photos from that terrible day, Congressman Mullin can be seen helping to stack heavy furniture to bar the door and prevent the extremists from streaming into the House chamber, and do God only knows what, since one attacker was photographed carrying zip ties. Despite that, CBS political reporter Grace Segers bashed him on Friday for not wearing a facemask while doing it.

What a way to thank someone who literally put themselves in harm’s way to protect others.
