He took on a task and must have known that 50% of the nation or so would likely hate him right off the bat. All presidents deal with these same issues. The hatred. Your life changes. You can't even open a window anymore, and certainly can't ever drive again. Eating changes. Your entire life changes, so that for 4-8 years you can be president and do your best to lead the country better off than you found her. And then unfortunately, almost all of the things you gave up for the job, will now follow you for the rest of your life. Yeah, people always discuss the perks you get but don't often discuss the misery that comes with the job.

So for all that he did give up and all of the hatred he faced and all that he will now deal with going forward - the best I could do is give him well wishes and the best of luck to him.

Melania was quiet in the face of hatred and held herself beautifully above it all and with grace most of the time.

Not to be forgotten in addition to these 2 - is Ivanka Trump. She also did a lot of unheard about work in the background and also softened her Dad up at times for some decisions. She also held her own and did a lot of good in Washington. She too was attacked just because of her Dad. And she'll now be excluded due to the same. But in the face of everything I thought she was fantastic and was always professional.

- Stock market was at 18,000 (31,000 now)

-SCOTUS leaned left. Conservative now.

-ISIS was terrorizing the world

-We had wars: Iraq, Afghanistan

Hard to believe...

-They said he couldn’t get a vaccine “that fast”
