This is gonna suck. Looks like anywhere from 13-23 inches of snow coming over mainly 2 days but 3 days of bad weather. Looks like a lot of wind with this one, so liable to pile up in areas. And most likely the most will land in my driveway. Gonna be more than me though - gonna hit as south as North Carolina and all the way north into Maine and almost Canada.

Tonight - Snow. Winds will increase late. Low 23F. Winds NE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 90%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.

Tomorrow - Snow along with gusty winds at times. High 34F. Winds NE at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of snow 100%. Snow accumulating 8 to 12 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.

Tomorrow night - Snow along with gusty winds at times. Low 34F. Winds NNE at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of snow 100%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.

Tuesday - Occasional snow showers. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds N at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 60%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

Love it. Wish I was there. Looking at it through a big window. With a roaring fire. And power that won't go out. With a stocked pantry. And my AWD car with good snow tires snug in a garage. Knowing I can go back south when it's over. Enjoy. :)

Well, come on north, ya got everything free here at my home. And to bring back memories, you can shovel my driveway! Anytime you're north though, stop on in.

I got the windows, got the fireplace, got the pantry stocked, got the generator, got 4 wheel in my truck. I can go south anytime I like too, just stay with Dad or Jeff. :thumb:

Last year you talked about getting a snow blower device or something ...and you hated the shovel....and would rather stay inside...

Whoa, good luck with the storm. You’re welcome to borrow my snow blower if you want. Darn thing is sitting idle in my garage. I’ve only had to use it once this winter. In fact send some of that snow my way. ;)

Damn, I think we got like 100 feet so far! LOL

It is a lot though, and still coming down hard. Every now and again it's a whiteout. Nikoh is in LOVE! Gotta go back out and get some pics. :)

I’m in the “love it” camp too. A roaring fire, duck dinner I didn’t have to cook (daughter did), Sicilian wine, and an old B&W movie (The Philadelphia Story: Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart). I love feeling like I’m blocking out the world.

Went out and measured a few spots and about 10" so far and coming down hard. Some drift areas were easily double that so far.

Give you an idea, here's my generator:

And just in front of it I measured a normal low lying area:

We had snow last week in Tucson. Lasted about an hour. On my mountain lasted about 4 hours. Still some on Mt. Lemmon.

Today was in 70s. :coffee:

It felt good getting home around 3pm and changing into t-shirt to go outside!

I love summer, but then grow tired of too much heat at times. I love winter, but don't like the "work" that comes with it, but absolutely love the snow! A spring time of about 70 is perfect, but never lasts. I do like getting all 4 seasons though.
