I knew it knew it knew it knew it. And I said from day one that she was being led by others and reading pre-written speeches and other BS. It was obvious IMO and I noticed that I wasn't alone in my thinking.

While she likely does believe in the cause, the elders around her are doing all the leg work and she's just being used as a kids face and age for attention.

---

First she gets directions from her "team". And note the celebrity part, and "why are we not talking about this" - and then Rihanna reads it and sends out "why are we not talking about this" to her 101 million followers. Success.

Greta Thunberg Accidentally Posts Doc with Talking Points on India Protests, Faces Criminal Probe

Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg drew the ire of police prosecutors in India on Thursday after she used social media to offer running commentary and advice on violent protests by the country’s farmers.

The 18-year-old left-wing eco-activist shared — and then quickly deleted — a message that detailed a list of “suggested posts” about the ongoing civil disorder, according to a report in the NY Post, which her critics say reveals she is being coached on what position to take by outsiders.

The list gave a series of tips on what to post on social media, asking her to also repost and tag other celebrities tweeting about it, including pop star Rihanna.

As well as the Twitter storm, the “toolkit” she shared also suggested highlighting planned demonstrations at Indian embassies.

The Delhi Police on Thursday filed a case against the activist over her tweets while rejecting foreign intervention on purely domestic matters.

For her part, Rihanna tweeted to her more than 101 million followers: “Why aren’t we talking about this?!” She linked to a CNN news report about India blocking internet services at the protest sites, a tactic of the government to thwart protests.

Senior government ministers, Indian celebrities and even the foreign ministry are now urging people to come together and denounce “outsiders” like Thunberg and Rihanna who try to “break the country.”

“It is unfortunate to see vested interest groups trying to enforce their agenda on these protests, and derail them,” India’s foreign ministry said Wednesday in a rare statement criticizing “foreign individuals” posting on social media. It did not name Rihanna and others who followed suit.

Greta Thunberg sparks criminal conspiracy probe in India with accidental tweet

Greta Thunberg accidentally shared a message showing she was getting told what to write on Twitter about the ongoing violent farmers’ revolt in India — sparking a police investigation and a political firestorm, according to reports.

The 18-year-old left-wing eco-activist shared — and then quickly deleted — a message that detailed a list of “suggested posts” about the ongoing protests, according to the posts that were saved by Breaking 911.

The list gave a series of tips on what to post, asking her to also repost and tag other celebrities tweeting about it, including pop star Rihanna.

As well as the Twitter storm, the “toolkit” she shared also suggested highlighting planned demonstrations at Indian embassies.

The campaign material and social media template was created by Canada’s Poetic Justice Foundation, which claims to be a grassroots group creating “events to provoke, challenge and disrupt systemic inequities and biases,” Times Now said. The group’s website confirms it is “most actively involved in the #FarmersProtest.”

...

The investigation is focusing on the spreading of disaffection against the government, promoting hatred and criminal conspiracy, the agency said.

One Indian minister, VK Singh, said that Thunberg’s deleted tweet “revealed the real designs of a conspiracy at an international level against India.”

“Instructions were laid out clearly as to the ‘how’, ‘when’ and ‘what,'” Singh wrote.

“Conspiracies at this scale often get exposed and ultimately it took the hasty tweet of Greta, who with other international celebrities suddenly turned sensitive towards farmer issues.”

A series of high-profile Indian celebrities also joined the attack on celebrities overseas getting involved in the farmers’ revolt that has gripped India for more than two months.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut even called the protesting farmers “terrorists” and Rihanna a “fool” for her widely shared tweet that asked her 100 million Twitter followers, “Why aren’t we talking about this?!”

Thunberg remained defiant Thursday. “I still #StandWithFarmers and support their peaceful protest,” she tweeted Thursday morning.

“No amount of hate, threats or violations of human rights will ever change that.”

Tens of thousands of farmers have been hunkering down at the Indian capital’s fringes to protest new agricultural laws they say will leave them poorer and at the mercy of corporations.

In their most violent clash on Jan. 26 — India’s Republic Day — hundreds of police officers were injured and a protester died. Scores of farmers were also injured but officials have not given their numbers.

It must be nice to stand with someone by merely posting a hashtag on twitter. I'd almost have to get out of bed.

I was riding my motorcycle around Nova Scotia fall of 2019 and we ran across some Euro dude who bought a motorcycle to travel around as he was apparently working with the Greta Thunberg group when they were going to shut down the bridge in Halifax... Even adults get caught up in ridiculous movements figure headed by children.

For her it's like a dream. Just simply post pre-written things on Twitter, end up lucky enough to not only get support from celebrities but also end up chatting with some. For a kid that's huge. Then all the traveling, likely all funded by donations and such. They make it look tough but I understand outside of sleeping on a train floor and a boat, also staying in the best of the best hotels and other amenities as she gets around. Then the speaking engagements and so many loving her. It was all built up around her to just hit a few buttons and enjoy the incoming.

But when you fake so many things like that, it's only a matter of time before it gets exposed in some manner. And worse, she exposed herself! :thumb:

And yeah, that's crazy. It's bad enough that someone would travel so far and stand around blocking travel for others, but as you pointed out, all about a child who is doing all of the leading but really all someone else.

How long before Milli Vanilli mix up songs start coming out? :laugh2:
