So this idiot went 'attention whoring drama bound I was almost murdered route' and is failing miserably. She continues on and others continue on finding more info.

I don't know the full underground workings, nor exactly where the dipshits were trying to enter. And the pounding she heard was only the police.

Here is a directions map on Google from the Capitol Building to the Cannon Building where she works. As you can see, it's listed as a 7 minute walk, which of course she didn't do. There are tunnels beneath that allow the house representatives to go from their offices to the Capitol. And it's not just a regular tunnel. It's also filled, or should be, with security inside there too. It's not for public use.

The Cannon House Office Building, often called the "Old House Office Building," completed in 1908, is the oldest congressional office building as well as a significant example of the Beaux-Arts style of architecture. It occupies a site south of the United States Capitol bounded by Independence Avenue, First Street, New Jersey Avenue, and C Street S.E. In 1962 the building was named for former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Joseph Gurney Cannon.[1]

The Cannon Tunnel connects the Cannon House Office Building to the Capitol. The tunnel is lined with artwork from the annual Congressional Art Competition for high school students.[4] Branching off the entrance to Cannon Tunnel is a separate tunnel to the Longworth House Office Building, and entrances to a cafeteria, shoe shiner/cobbler, and a Legislative Resource Center. Unlike the tunnels from the Capitol to the Senate Office Buildings and the Rayburn tunnel, the Cannon Tunnel has no subway line, and is primarily a pedestrian pathway. In addition, a separate tunnel runs between the building and the neighboring James Madison Memorial Building, a part of the Library of Congress. [5]

‘Alexandria Ocasio Smollett’ Trends As Critics Punch Holes In Her Dramatic Cap Hill Story

“Alexandria Ocasio Smollett” and “AOC Lied” trended on Twitter amidst backlash over Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s tale of her experiences during the Capitol Riot.
The New York Democrat has repeatedly said she feared for her life, describing how she hid in her office bathroom after hearing loud banging and shouting on Jan. 6 before a Capitol Police officer burst into her office.
Critics pointed out that her office is not in the United States Capitol building, which rioters stormed that day, but in the Cannon office building down the street.

“Alexandria Ocasio Smollett” and “AOC Lied” trended on Twitter amid backlash over Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s tale of her experiences during the Capitol riot.

The New York Democrat has repeatedly described fearing for her life during the Jan. 6 riot. In a Monday evening Instagram Live video, she said she hid in her office bathroom after hearing loud banging and shouting.

She described her fears at length before revealing that it was not rioters but a Capitol Police officer who entered her office. Multiple news outlets would inaccurately report that rioters entered Ocasio-Cortez’s office before deleting or editing these reports. Newsweek issued a correction clarifying the error.

“I thought I was going to die,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “I have never been quieter in my entire life.”

She has not responded to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Critics pointed out that her office is not in the United States Capitol building which rioters stormed that day. Her office is instead located a short distance from the Capitol in the Cannon office building, which is included in the Capitol complex.

As Critics Point Out AOC Was Far From Riots, Snopes Calls It ‘Mostly False’ That She ‘Exaggerated’ The Danger

Snopes declared it was “mostly false” that Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “exaggerated the danger she was in” during the Capitol riot after critics noted she wasn’t even in the Capitol building during the event.

Ocasio-Cortez has repeatedly said she feared for her life during the riot and described her account in detail on live streams. The congresswoman said she hid inside the bathroom in her office during the nearby riot after hearing shouting and banging.

Soon after her story came out, though, critics noted that her office is in a different building than the U.S. Capitol. Ocasio-Cortez has an office in the Cannon building, which is down the street from the Capitol.

After this revelation, Snopes, a fact-checking website, admitted that it was “true” that “Ocasio-Cortez wasn’t in the main Capitol building where the House and Senate Chambers are located” but declared claims that she exaggerated the danger she was in to be “mostly false.”

“AOC was targeted with another round of bad-faith smears after giving an emotional, firsthand account of her experiences during the Capitol riot,” Snopes wrote in its fact-check.

She doesn't want to allow others on Twitter the ability to fact check her. I know, I feel for her, it's gotta suck a tad when you are constantly pointed about - due to the amount of lies you make & the amount of stupidity that comes out of her mouth.

AOC Caught In Another Lie Lashes Out and Demands Social Media Giants Stop Users from Fact Checking What She Says

AOC was upset that she got caught in another lie last night. She was so upset that she asked her followers to demand social media giants ban anyone who fact-checks her.

We reported last night that AOC was not in the Capitol dome on January 6th like she said:

The story of AOC’s embellishment took off on social media so much so that AOC was trending:

On Wednesday, “#AlexandriaOcasioSmollett” trended on Twitter after socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was caught up in a hoax when she claimed she had a “near death” experience in the US Capitol riot even though she wasn’t in the Capitol building.

This of course upset AOC so much that she played the victim:

Her BS continues...

It's real simple, she is able to make things up - as if anyone questions her - they get shamed for doing so. Even though it's so obvious that it's bullshit.

Why aren't others in that building backing her up with similar stories?

Near death experience? Even though she had zero interaction whatsoever and no one entered that building. And this is what she is using to accuse a few others of "attempted murder" over.

This is nothing more than attention whoring.

Ocasio-Cortez: Sharing Our Stories of Capitol Attack ‘Really Important Part to Healing’

Friday on CBS’s “This Morning,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) discussed her account of a “near-death” experience during the riot at the U.S. Capitol in January. Her account has been challenged in part because her office is in another location that the people who breached the Capitol reportedly never entered.

Ocasio-Cortez emphasized that for “survivors of trauma,” sharing your story is a “really important part to healing.”

“I think one of the things that we’ve learned, especially in counseling services offered to House members, is that telling our stories and retelling it especially right after the events transpired is a really important part to healing and getting through it,” Ocasio-Cortez outlined. “And so once we tell that story — and this applies to survivors of trauma all over the country — telling that story as many times as possible and giving that account, allowing yourself to move through that emotion, allowing yourself to revisit that fear and process it and then move past it is important. But yeah, there are lots of emotions. There’s fear; there’s anger at folks who attacked our nation’s Capitol. There’s frustration that this could have happened. But then there’s also determination for us to never allow this to happen again.”

The freshman lawmaker from New York also commented on those challenging her version of what happened on Jan. 6. She said her account is “accurate,” and the doubt from others is partly why she waited to tell her story.

“It’s, unfortunately, kind of the spring to deny and to politicize our accounts with something that I sat with,” she declared. “And it was a big reason why, you know, on top of making sure that we could clear our story due to security concerns, there’s a reason why I sat on my story, as well. You know, so many survivors fear being publicly doubted. But the fact of the matter is that the account is accurate. And, you know, when it comes to minimizing the experiences of survivors, that is extremely damaging, as well.”

“[S]o many survivors across the country don’t get the help that they need because they internalize people saying that, you know, that their trauma isn’t big enough to get help,” Ocasio-Cortez added.

I'm still waiting for clarification on the sexual assault, was it by one of her staff or the police officer?

You have to be kidding me!

Another squad member chimes in. Another squad member who wasn't there at the time. Another one who has to try and make it about her.

Sobbing Rashida Tlaib Talks About Death Threats, Capitol Attack: 'This Is So Personal'

(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) said the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol is "so personal" for her -- even though she wasn't there at the time -- because of the threats she's received since the day she took office.

At times, comforted by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Tlaib told the following story:

"I asked to go last because I did -- (she cries) -- because this is so personal," Tlaib said:

This is so hard, because as many of my colleagues know, my closest colleagues know, on my very first day of orientation, I got my first death threat. It was a serious one. They took me aside, the FBI had to go to the gentleman's home.

I didn't even get sworn in yet, and someone wanted me dead for just existing. More came later -- uglier, more violent. One celebrating in writing the New Zealand massacre and hoping that more would come. Another mentioning my dear son Adam -- mentioning him by name. Each one paralyzed me each time.

So what happened on January 6, all I could do is thank Allah that I wasn't here. I felt overwhelming relief. And I feel bad for Alexandria and so many of my colleagues that were here.

But as I saw it, I thought to myself, thank God that I'm not there. I saw the images that they didn't get to see until later. My team and I decided at that point we'd keep the death threats away -- we'd try to report them, document them, to keep them away from me, because it paralyzed me.

All I wanted to do was come here and serve the people that elected me. The people that told my mother, who only had eighth grade education -- that she deserves human dignity. People that believed in me. And so it's hard.

It's hard when my seven brothers and six sisters beg me to get protection, many urging me to get a gun for the first time. And I have to tell you -- the trauma from just being here, existing, as a Muslim, is so hard.

But imagine my team, which I love, and just adore, they are diverse. I have LGBTQ staff, I have the beautiful Muslim that wears her hijab proudly in the halls, I have black women that are so proud to be here to serve their country.

And I worry every day for their lives because of this rhetoric. I never thought that they would feel unsafe here,

And so I ask my colleagues to please try not to dehumanize what's happening. This is real. And you know, many of our residents -- from the shootings in Charlottesville, too, the massacre at the synagogue, all of it -- all of it is led by hate rhetoric like this. And so I urge my colleagues to please, please take what happened on January 6 seriously. It will lead to more death and we can do better. We must do better.

Thank you.

Ya gotta love The New York Times.
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recounts being in her office minding her own business when the Capitol riot breaks out. Quickly she races for the office bathroom. She falls silent, terrified as a male voice yells “Where is she?”
I confess the thought crossed my mind…was she even in the Capitol? In the long ago and far away my first Washington job was working as a press secretary and then legislative director for a Pennsylvania congressman. I became extremely familiar with all three House office buildings - Cannon, Longworth and Rayburn.
All named for former Speakers of the House. If there is one thing I learned it was that the only Members of the House who have offices in the U.S. Capitol are the House Leadership of both parties and very senior, been-there-for-decades Members. Ocasio-Cortez fits none of those categories. Ergo, she had no Capitol office in which to hide.
To say as Ocasio-Cortez did that she shut herself in her office bathroom had to mean only one thing - she was not in the Capitol building where the assault was taking place. Sure enough, she was outed by South Carolina Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace. Fox News reported (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rep-nance-mace-aoc-trying-to-politicize-everything) this:
‘I deal in facts and reality. And the fact is there were no insurrectionist, no violent rioters that were in the halls of the Cannon Office Building that day,’ said Mace, whose office is down the hall from Ocasio-Cortez. ‘Everyone was terrified. We were worried. It was a harrowing, life-threatening experience. No one questions that. But when we get into the details and the facts and let that slide, that that did not happen, that's where I take issue. We need to be honest or people tell the truth and deal in reality and facts.’
According to Mace, this is far from the first time that Ocasio-Cortez has tried to use a situation for political purposes.
‘[S]he has a tendency to politicize literally everything. And I'm sick and tired. I'm sick and tired of that,’ Mace said.”
